Price: $30.00
Pros: Beefier than stock
Cons: Bushing larger than axle side housing. Left a puddle of oil in garage after 2 weeks.
Recommended? No

Comments: I am hoping that I just got a defective part from Pro Comp, but I decided to upgrade to Rancho instead of finding out. It was covered under warranty.

Price: $1.00
Pros: Stabilizes steering
Cons: none yet
Recommended? No

Comments: I had a blown stabilizer and replaced it with this on credit from a local shop. It works better than none but if I was buying I would go with a bigger one; supposed to be able to handle 35" tires I think (??). So Far so worries

Pros: Easier to handle
Cons: Longer than factory, mounts differently

Comments: May need to play around with fitting it so it won't hit the front differential when you turn, had to mount it in a different area than factory

Price: $35.00
Pros: -Price -Value -Functionality
Cons: -None so far
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Replaced the OEM steering stabilizer with the ProComp ES2000. I'm very pleased with the ease of installation, although they do provided extra hardware, only half of it was used with the installation. Looks great and performs great on the road, and off it. For the price, this stabilizer is definitely worth it.

Price: $30.00
Pros: Did well with 32s, not so much with 35s
Cons: 33" tires max
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I would only recommend this for tires under 33s. I had 32s when I bought this, worked great. Now I have 35s and it doesnt hold up so well to them. Is it a good product, sure, especially for the price.

Price: $79.00
Pros: great look, huge improvement in my 67 CJ5 with old style steering linkage, easy install, comes with all mounting hardware.
Cons: none
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This product was a huge improvement in my 67 CJ5...stock it doesn't come with a steering stabilizer, so could get a little shaky at higher speeds. This kit comes with everything you need to it works on various applications. Made my purchase from, wait for the 20% off sales, usually once a month or so they run this sale over the weekends.

Price: $199.00
Pros: Good steering control
Cons: none
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I install the dual stabilizer control onto my CJ5 last after adding the 2" body lift. The addition of the dual stabilizers basically eliminated the problems I had with the jeep trying to walk across the road.

ProComp ES2000 Steering Stabilizer
Price: $30.00

Comments: Don't use this on anything bigger than a 33" tire. It can't handle it. I had it on my 35's after I beat up my Old Man Emu. I didn't really like it, but it sufficed. When I put on my 37's, I had to take it off.
