Designed to reduce the effect of wheel vibration and improve the feel, handling and control of the vehicle, OME’s steering stabilisers will also reduce the aggressive rotation of the steering wheel over rough roads without affecting steering wheel return.

Features:

* 9 Stage Coil Spring Valving – for optimum performance

* 15mm Piston Rod – stronger than the original

* Steel Stone Guard – protects the piston rod against stone damage

* 35mm Piston & Bore – increased oil volume

* Twin Tube Design – protects the internal components against stone damage

* Multi Lip Seal – prevents oil loss

* Original Mounts – for ease of installation original stabiliser mounts are used where appropriate

Price: $60.00
Pros: works better than stock by a mile
Cons: may be fading, bright yellow
Recommended? Yes

Comments: install was o.k. having extra parts left over was cause to run to jeepforum.com to see if I was missing anything. Turns out they were for another model of jeep. Have found through driving our permanently potholed roads for a while, that the steering is much improved over stock, it may be degrading. This is under a year with 30" tires, but it could be the roads are getting worse too. Soon I won't have to go wheeling off road! Yay!

Comments: Could feel the difference immediately over my previous skyjacker stabilizer.
So far it feels a little tighter and more responsive up front.

Cons: None

Comments: Great product. For some reason my old SS was a pain to get out; broke 1 pittman puller to get out. Other than that, pretty straight forward.

Pros: Much smoother steering, steering wheel doesn't jump all over the place.
Cons: removing the OEM one
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I bought this to replace my stock SS, which was shot. Removing the stock one is a PITA; use a pitman arm puller and a 1/2" drive with a long handle. I shore the heads off of two 3/8" ratchets. Also you gotta kind of ram the axle-end of this thing into place. But the ride improvement is definately worth it.

Pros: Not extremely expensive like the double ones. or the huge name ones. instantly I can safely drive 80 mph no death wobble. not shake at all. and handles alot better.
Cons: Didnt get it sooner.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Best cheap purchase for a Daily Driver Jeep. my jeep didnt shake much before hand but when i got up to top speeds it was a little unstable. now im not worried at all. Handles alot better and no wobble at all going 80+. and i still have 8 year old stock (bad) shocks as of now. Great Product!! I bought just because my jeep was yellow. i bought there shocks also just because on the ride inprovment for this. the Old man knows his jeeps ;-)

Pros: Beefy, easy to install, no more wobble! You pay for what you get and you get the best!
Cons: Removing OEM one, PITA
Recommended? Yes

Comments: After talking to a guy at my local 4wd shop, I purchased it due to me having DW above 50mph, had already gotten a JKS track bar and still had it. Installed this and boom! had it up to 65 smooth as silk! Oh yea and it looks awesome too!

Price: $70.00
Pros: Heavy duty, easy installation, great performance.
Cons: A bit pricey for some but very worth it in my book.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Great product from a great company. Install was simple with supplied hardware and was a direct OEM fit for my TJ. Looks to be easily converted for non-stock steering with some additional hardware. Stone guard could cause some slight interference with some drag links depending on set up. Power coating is pretty tough and hasn't chipped even after driving down gravel roads at speed. OME just makes a great product.

Price: $70.00
Pros: Heavy duty, easy installation, all new mounting hardware, direct OEM fit or adapt to non-stock steering with additional hardware
Cons: A bit pricey but quality is worth it in my book
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Great product so far. Easy installation. Hardest part was removing the OEM unit. Easily adapts to non-stock steering with additional hardware though it was not included. The stone guard is a bit large and could get in the way depending on the angle of your draglink. Softens the highway jitters that a lot of TJs get. Poweder coating is pretty tough and hasn't chipped even after charging down gravel roads at speed. What else can I say, OME offers top-notch products. Period.
