Pros: Adjustable on the Jeep, Johnny Joints at both ends, shiny, tons of adjustability
Cons: Jam nuts have loosened up twice (could have been my fault)
Comments: I ordered these after being annoyed with adjusting the Currie single adjustable rear uppers on the wife's Jeep. These were by far the easiest control arms I ever put on a Jeep. I took the old ones off (swapped one for one), bolted on one end, stuck the other end into the bracket and adjusted it by hand until the bolt hole lined up. I then added the bolt and adjusted it by hand to where I wanted it set. Once two lowers were added it took it for a ride to make sure there were no issues. You can install 2 arms in about 30 to 45 minutes. One of the best things you gain is the amount of adjust ability, the old single adjustables would have to be spun 180 degrees in or out, the new arm utilize every single little bit of adjust ability. Make sure the new JJ are grease right away.
The Jeeps suspension no longer has that "wandering" feeling and feels really tight. It is a whole new Jeep! The JJ add less stress to the mounts as well during articulation. These are a must have for any Jeeper and the money is WELL WORTH IT!
The only con I have is after my initial test drive I had one jam nut come loose. I cranked the crap out of all of them again. The next day my wife drove her Jeep to work, when she got home I check again only to find a different nut loose. I got underneath and re checked and tightened every Jam nut again. It has been a week not with not another one coming loose but because of the initial issue I will be sure to check it routinely.
Another Jam nut loose. Not sure why I can not get these things tight enough.
