CONTROL ARM SF2 LOWER FIXED
All Super-Flex Control Arms feature our rebuildable spherical bearing assembly. This assembly features a large 2.25" polymer race that encapsulates a 1.75" hard plated steel bearing. A threaded steel insert allows adjustable preload and easy maintenance. The unit is greasable and extremely quiet due to the non-metallic races. This bearing allows extra flex for off-road prowess, yet does not sacrifice on-road handling or long term durability.
Comments: these are very good control arms. they have held up nicely. i bought them used and the bushings were shot, but that can't be held against RE since it was the last owner who did that
Comments: No option for a full set of SF2 arms, so this was the selection. I like being able to adjust all the arms, and the flex is good. Rebuildable joints, fairly strong for shortarms, handle abuse well.
Comments: They came with the RE 4.5" SF kit. $900 if bought separate.
Install was done just like the directions recommended (Jeep was on the ground when the arms were tightend) Rubicon said they had a bad batch of bushings but according to what I've read they have been saying that for years. There are people that say they have had good luck with these arms so don't take my word for it do some research before you buy. If you still want to buy these arms I'll be rebuilding mine and selling them after I purchase some Rokmen arms.
If you don't take your jeep off road these might be alright.
Comments: I bought these arms from a fellow JF member and am very happy with the quality of them. After 12k miles the bushings are still in great shape
Flex Joint in 1 end - rubber in the other
1/4" longer than stock so helps out caster angles etc.
Really good clearance around the axle mounting bracket.
Cons
None

yes
Comments: I purchased a set of these second hand from another member on Jeepforum, and gave them a lick of paint and installed them along with my 2" BDS spring lift.
I installed them on the front and being 1/4" longer than stock they helped keep the caster angle close to stock. The flex joint reduces the stress on the control arm brackets with the increased suspension travel.
After 1 year on my Jeep they were going well so I purchased another set and put them on the rear of my Jeep. 3 years and 50,000 km later still going strong with no issues.
I can attest to the strength of these arms, I "found" a tree stump that was about 300 mm tall with square edge while Jeepin at about 15 km/hr going up a bank. It was enough to blow the tyre off the rim and trash the rim. The RE control arm was all good, but the control arm bracket was Z shaped. I got home OK, but had to have the axle bracket straightened and welded again.
Comments: Just like the lift, great quality and value. Re makes really good stuff. Must have when you install eye and custom drive shaft
