CONTROL ARM SF2 LOWER FIXED
All Super-Flex Control Arms feature our rebuildable spherical bearing assembly. This assembly features a large 2.25" polymer race that encapsulates a 1.75" hard plated steel bearing. A threaded steel insert allows adjustable preload and easy maintenance. The unit is greasable and extremely quiet due to the non-metallic races. This bearing allows extra flex for off-road prowess, yet does not sacrifice on-road handling or long term durability.

Pros: rubber (not poly) bushing, heavy duty
Cons: could be better w/ spherical joints both ends
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I bought these arms from a fellow JF member and am very happy with the quality of them. After 12k miles the bushings are still in great shape

Price: $100.00
Pros: Easy to install and relatively cheap
Cons: Stupid hourglass bushings that were bad
Recommended? No

Comments: I installed the fixed lower control arms on my TJ only to have the bushings fail nearly instantly. RE sent replacements because they said they had a "bad run" of bushings but still ... PITA to change the bushings out. Other than that the arms were fine but I'd really recommend to anyone thinking of buying fixed LCAs to spring for the adjustable ones. they are much, much better.

Price: $900.00
Pros: good flex
Cons: Arms were trashed after 5 trips off road.
Recommended? No

Comments: They came with the RE 4.5" SF kit. $900 if bought separate.

Install was done just like the directions recommended (Jeep was on the ground when the arms were tightend) Rubicon said they had a bad batch of bushings but according to what I've read they have been saying that for years. There are people that say they have had good luck with these arms so don't take my word for it do some research before you buy. If you still want to buy these arms I'll be rebuilding mine and selling them after I purchase some Rokmen arms.

If you don't take your jeep off road these might be alright.

Price: $800.00
Pros: adjustable arms, full set of 8
Cons: price - ouch, this was used!
Recommended? Yes

Comments: No option for a full set of SF2 arms, so this was the selection. I like being able to adjust all the arms, and the flex is good. Rebuildable joints, fairly strong for shortarms, handle abuse well.

Comments: these are very good control arms. they have held up nicely. i bought them used and the bushings were shot, but that can't be held against RE since it was the last owner who did that
