Product Information

MSRP: $400.00
Average Price: $389.25
Manufacturer: rough country
Yes: 7 / No: 1

A full kit for the front control arms. Comes with two sets upper and lower adjustable control arms and bushings, zerk fittings. Aweseom idea for those who may want to go bigger in the future and would need the room for movement.
Good buy, would recommend

Fully adjustable control arms replace your factory stamped sheet metal OE arms and allow for better articulation and more control off road but does not sacrifice on road handling. They are fully greasable, and come with highly durable polyurethane bushings.

Price: $1,099.00
Pros: Well made kit for the price
Cons: None as of yet
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Torn between IRO and RC, I chose RC for the price savings which was reallocated toward a winch and winch plate. IRO has a well known issue with the 10mm bolt used on the front Iron Y. Rough Country had a known issue with their X-Flex joints. RC improved their joints over the original design. I couln't deny the bang for the buck and have wheeled hard over different terrains and smashing the arms on rocks. As much almost "anger" as there is toward RC, I have yet to see an issue nor do I anticipate one. Keep the system greased and hit the skinny pedal. Honestly, I could care less what nameplate comes with the parts as long as they work as described and designed. I do hold some allegiance to IRO as they are a MN company, so I run their springs and other parts.

Price: $400.00
Pros: adjustability
Cons: thin non robust internal thread design in the sleeve
Recommended? No

Comments: I had 2 lowers strip the threads, allowing front to back axle slop/klunks likely contributing to my cv shaft's centering ball/socket failure.
After discovering that the arm doesn't rotate thru the full stuff/droop range, I welded both lowers to solidify the geometry.
Get the arms with the jamnut and heim joint.

Price: $20.00
Pros: Better than stock
Cons: Bushing wear out quickly, zerk fittings exposed to damage
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Rough Country is still one of the best for the budget Jeeper. These control arms are from the X-Series lift designed again for the budget-minded Jeeper. Fit and finish quality is up to Rough Country standards which means, not bad. Installation is straight forward. RC still uses rubber bushings which are better for flex than poly, not as good as Johnnie Joints but they will wear out in a year under heavy use.

For someone looking to save money and still get an acceptable lift and adjustable arms, Rough Country is the way to go

Comments: bought the new design upper rear arms and all I can say is WOW. these are beefy arms and the price was great too given im still in college. The ride quality is still good. Great to have when you install a SYE and a longer driveshaft.

rough country Adjustable greasable front upper and lower control arms
Price: $400.00

Comments: Fits right in where the stock parts come out. Fully adjustable and work wonders. Would never have a problem recommending these to anyone. Eliminates the need for control arm skids. A little squeeky for my taste, but that is the only draw back.
