Comments: The RE BB with full-length AAL is great. You get everything you need including shocks. Install is as easy as everything comes of your rig. It does well offroad and on. A great investment if you're just looking for a couple inches.

Comments: It's a 2.5" lift. I'm extremely satisfied. The military wrap springs are over kill (this is good). I have just as much clearance as my friends YJ with a Tough Country 4.5" lift...

Rubicon Express Budget boost
Pros: Eveything is great, Shocks they give are rough.
Cons: Get the monotube shocks you'll be happy!
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Everyone should ease their way into lifting their TJ, not throw a 10" lift on right away, and this budget lift is the best out there. Install time is about 4-5 hours with 2 people and some basic tools: penetrating oil, torx bits (T55), metric & standard sockets & wrenches, factory bottlejack (or other high jack), and at least 2 jackstands. The BB is very well made, everything is quality, and I got everything I needed to complete the install. The price is going down now, and for around $200 you can have your own TJ lifted 2"--enough to fit 31" or even 32" tires (on properly backspaced wheels). If you're looking for a lift on a budget...this is absolutely it.

Rubicon Express Budget boost
Pros: Inexpensive. Kit itself is easy to install. Getting original bolts out can be a problem.
Cons: I experienced driveline vibrations and had to install a TC drop kit to resolve.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: All in all I do like the kit and would recommend to anyone looking for an inexpensive lift.

Rubicon Express Budget boost
Pros: cheap, great beginner mod, easy install
Cons: shocks rough
Recommended? No

Comments: Its great to have a product that is so cheap and can improve a stock jeep so much. The only downside to this lift is the shocks. I ended up replacing mine with softer shocks after only a couple of months. If I could do things over again, I would probably assemble my budget boost with parts bought seperately (ex. ebay spacers & skyjacker hydros).

Rubicon Express Budget boost
Price: $210.00
Pros: Can't beat the price and ease of install. Add a 1" body and motor mount lift + quick discos and you'll be fully articulating with 31x10.5" tires and no rub.
Cons: None
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I couldn't feel any difference from the stock ride. Spacers don't change spring ratings and the shocks I got with my kit ride just like stock shocks. My kit is over two years old so maybe the shocks have changed since then.

Rubicon Express Budget boost
Pros: Cheap, very effective for what it is, great starter "lift" for entry wheeling
Cons: Spring rates get a bit tighter, RE shocks are rough, go with OME.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Add a front swaybar disco and this together, you will be amazed at how much a TJ can flex!!!!

Rubicon Express Budget boost
Pros: Better stance, better looks, bigger tires
Cons: makes you want to spend a lot more money :)
Recommended? Yes

Comments: The RE budget boosts are a good way to start off your offroading experience. They offer a lot of pros and the con is that you are going to spend a lot more money on tires and bigger lifts and offroad equipment if your serious.

Rubicon Express Budget boost
Price: $215.00
Pros: Great lift for the price, easy installation
Cons: You will want to go higher a short time after installing the lift.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This was the first lift kit I purchased when I bought my Jeep. I had the kit on for two years before upgrading and really enjoyed it. Those extra two inches helped my Jeep out so much on the trail compared to riding around on a stock setup.

Another big plus on the lift is that it is very easy to install and it is fairly inexpensive.

Have a good one,

Rubicon Express Budget boost
Pros: Cheap, easy DIY install, no driveline mods needed
Cons: Always want to go higher, RE Twintubes are kinda' harsh
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Got my RE BB last Christmas and I love it. For the price, it's a great way to clear 31s and 32s or 33s if you add a 1" BL.

Took about 4 hours to install by myself.

Twintubes are kind of harsh ride-wise... I run my 31" ATs at 30psi to compensate.

If I could money-wise, I'd go with the OME shocks instead.

Rubicon Express Budget boost
Price: $200.00
Pros: Great price, great flex, good value!
Cons: Little bit rougher on the ride
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This product gets a 10 for the fact that you can't beat it for the price. Great flex, great looks even with stock tires, and great value makes this package a hit. This pic is of my jeep running only this kit and the Gen 2 RE disconnects in the front. Not bad performance for $300 bucks combined....
