RE7002 3.5" Standard Kit TJ/LJ - The Standard kit is a perfect entry for those looking to run 33" tires on a smaller budget. The 3.5" Standard kit includes springs, and bump stops, but maintains stock control arms and track bars. On and off road performance of this kit is excellent and is easily upgradeable to the Super-Flex kit by adding our control arms and other Super-Flex components.

Price: $1,050.00
Pros: better than stock ride, so far no issues
Cons: nothings adjustable except disco's
Recommended? Yes

Comments: All the components that came with the kit seem to be pretty quality, and much beefier than stock. I went with monotube shocks and the ride is great. I got close to 4" with this lift. I do need a bring the front end up a little more to level it. I had to redrill the the front track bar mount, which has been fine so far but it's the only real area of concern I have safety wise. I read some threads talking about adjustable track bars hitting the front differential cover with lower lifts, so I'll probably just keep the stock track bar and weld on some steel to reinforce the track bar mount.

This was my first lift and I do weld and I did weld the rear track bar bracket on that comes with the kit, but welding is not required. As I said though this was my first lift and I was able to do it by myself with no extra hands around to help. Theres a link to a great write up on this forum and that was invaluable for me as the instructions that came with the kit were very vague. Any more questions feel free to PM me.

Price: $1,400.00
Pros: Reputable, good quality, easy install.
Cons: None yet (at least for the kit as advertised).
Recommended? No

Comments: This kit is easy enough for a novice like me to install.

IF YOU INSTALL A SYE/CV SHAFT WITH THIS the angled rear track bar bracket, adjustable track bar and rear adjustable upper control arms. It will make your life a lot more simple. You'll also need to either purchase rear shock relocation brackets or trim the spring plate so that the shock doesn't hit it.

Price: $850.00
Pros: Fairly cheap price with quality components, flex, should be a great base for a build
Cons: Don't know that this is really a con but actual lift seems to be 4"+(for you low COG people), may just be my springs. . .
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Great lift for the money. Did some research and at this price point could not find a better deal. I got the standard kit, which comes without the control arms, but got RE monotubes with the kit. Installed this kit cost me $1247 with tax and alignment and a 9-5 turnaround. Would have rather done it myself, but I have no access to a shop or tools atm.

Price: $960.00
Pros: Nice looks, fairly easy to install.
Cons: Rear track bar bracket needed some creative custom fitting.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: It was fairly easy to install. I did end up using my coil spring compressor to install new springs. I also went with an adjustable front trac bar instead of using the supplied bracket. The rear trac bar bracket did not line up correctly so I had to modify the holes a tad bit. Fits 33" tires great. Plenty of room for 35"s. I had is on for a day and then went out and had an alignment. Went playing in the Sespe creek and wheeling around the trails for the day. Suspension settled in during that time so now my trac bar needs adjusting a bit. Will re-align. My advice: if your going to get an alignment? First flex it a bit and let the lift settle in. That way you won't have to get two alignments. Went with the reccomended RE Monotube shocks.

Price: $800.00
Pros: Nice height, firm ride, complete kit
Cons: No upper control arms or front track bar included.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Complete kit. Installed the kit by myself in about 6 hours. I purchased the twin tube shocks and would probably go with monotube if I had to do it again.
Installation was pretty straightforward, following the RE instructions. I would recommend adj. upper control arms and front track bar to ease/correct alignment and pinion angles.
Very solid lift for the $$.

Price: $900.00
Pros: It gave me the Clearance and look I wanted
Cons: Price
Recommended? Yes

Comments: The kit is new and I wasnt sure how it would go. I bought the Rubicon Express 3.5 lift kit and Rubicon Mono-Tube shocks. The install was easy, and the ride stayed about the same, just a little stiffer than stock. Im real happy that I spent the extra money and went with this lift. I also keep in mind that this kit is engineered to be easily up-graded to a Super-Flex system. Overall it gave me the clearance I needed and the look I wanted.

Comments: i would recommend this kit to anyone who is looking to run 33's on a smaller budget. the flex on this kit is amazing and the ride is close to stock. i have had it for almost a year and have no squeaks or problems. i installed a sye and cv along with it so i wouldn't have to worry about vibrations. if i had to do it all over again i would buy this kit again.

Price: $900.00
Pros: Tough axle end spherical joints, higher lift than advertized, decent ride, decent price, and easy to install
Cons: control arm bushings at frame end, are crap. I have been through 3 sets of bushings in 6mo, and that's daily driving/light wheeling. The warranty on the bushings is a joke, they only replaced one set of bushings under warranty, and I have come out of pocket $50+ for each set of 4.
Recommended? No

Comments: I wa extremely happy withthe easy install, tough looking parts, actual lift i gained, and decent ride. I have one major problem, that's the cheap junk control arm bushings they use in the SF kit. If anyone is interested in this kit, I suggest selling the RE arms, and getting some good currie arms, or similar.
