Price: $500.00
Pros: Inexspensive, better ride than stock, pretty good flex
Cons: short arm kit, had to buy coil correction plates
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I got this lift kit as part of a much larger package when my TJ was new and so I didn't know what I didn't know. However, all things considered this kit has been great. I am upgrading to the long arm conversion soon, but I can't say much bad about this kit.

Price: $429.00
Pros: The kit comes with everything you need to complete the project. I researched other kits and found that you would be required to buy extra parts to complete the installation. It was purchased from www.roughcountry.com for $429.00 which included free shipping. I loved it so much I bought a 2" lift for my wife's 78 CJ-7!
Cons: Cons????
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Awesome kit! I would highly advise anyone looking to buy a lift kit for their rig to check out this set-up! Five stars all the way!

Price: $500.00
Pros: Well.. it DID lift it 4 inches.
Cons: The control arm bushings don't last, the kit was sent with some wrong parts, the trac-bar drop bracket system was horribly underengineered.
Recommended? No

Comments: Having gone through so much with this kit, I'd likely try another vendor like Zone. The trac-bar drop bracket was a miserable failure, the shocks started leaking after about a month and the control arm bushings split once and the replacements have already worn out in less than a year.

Price: $450.00
Pros: The hardware, springs and shocks are pretty good quality. Better ride than my stock suspension.
Cons: Instructions are a little hard to read.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I just put my rough country lift on a week ago. The hardware is much more heavy duty than stock. The ride quality is better than stock. Havent tested the flex on it yet, but over all a every complete and good lift for a jeeper on a budget

Pros: Great Price
Cons: Shocks suck change them to Nitro Shocks
Recommended? Yes

Comments: For the price could not beat it, got it from Jc whitney and they had a great sale that day, needed better shocks though, also i upgraded to Adj. track bar, drop pitman arm, and now installing JKS bar pin eliminators, and rear nitro shocks on the front with brackets to do so.

Pros: great price for the lift
Cons: kit was missing some parts such as some nuts and bolts and the transfer case shift lever relocation bracket

Comments: The lift is not that bad, we have had it on now for about 4 yrs. Not a bad price but would recommend spending a few hundred more dollars for a better lift

Price: $400.00
Pros: very complete kit and very reasonable priced.
Cons: rides horribly, very little flex
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This is a good kit that is very reasonably priced. I think the ride quality is awful and there is very little flex in the suspension, but I have not had any other lift on the Jeep nor have I ridden in another lifted CJ so I have nothing to compare it to except other vehicles. For the price you pay for this kit you get a good quality product, just don't expect a good ride and great off road flex.
