Lift kit that levels front and rear of vehicle (JK). 2.5" in front; 2" in rear. This is a spacer lift or budget boost style of lift kit using the existing springs and shocks. Designed for using 33" tires (up to 285/75 R17 or 34x11.5 17).
Price: $120.00 Pros: Fairly easy install, added parts are not obvious to dealers... Installed in 3 hours solo with hand tools and spring compressor. Cons: Instructions could be clearer. Recommended? Yes
Comments: 3 hour install solo. All hand tools and spring compressor.
Comments: Good kit, instructions were pretty easy to follow. I'm no mechanic, but I may have been able to do this with a little help. My buddy IS a mechanic, he did this in under 2 hours, with interuptions, phone calls, etc mixed in.
Comments: It works for now, the way the jeep came. Definately coming off when I have the money. It handles ok, but I don't feel comfortable having stock everything with just blocks in the rear and coil spacers up front. I think its a 2.5", although it has longer shocks installed.
Price: $140.00 Pros: OK instructions. Well made. Courteous and quick service. Cons: No bumpstops. No trackbar relocation. No brakeline brackets. Oddly stiffer ride after the lift. Recommended? Yes
Comments: Good instructions but could use more info on wires etc that need to be removed from rear axle. A couple of spacer sleeves were missing from the kit. RC was helpful and courteous about sending them out. Also extended bumpstops would have been a nice addition along with trackbar relocation brackets and brakeline extension brackets. Still a great price as long as you know what's missing.
