Price: $1.00
Pros: Great
Cons: U-Bolys were not the correct size for an older CJ5
Recommended? Yes

Comments: The product was as advertised for anewer CJ5. However, it was not correct for an older CJ5 axle diameter. However, the guys a rough contry responded right away and were very helpful.

Price: $400.00
Pros: Everything you'd expect from a budget lift kit.
Cons: shocks are too stiff.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Even though the shocks are too stiff for my liking, overall, the kit is a great value. Easily done at home by two people. For my TJ we did have to get a rear trackbar relocation bracket and re-drill a hole for the front one. I would suggest getting a adjustable one for the front. A pickle-fork was the only thing that would separate the front trackbar from the frame mount (just something to keep in mind). Definitely recommended.

Price: $400.00
Pros: Easy installation, good value for starter lift, great customer service
Cons: None so far
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I've been pleased despite some criticism from others. RC products have served me very well thus far and their customer service is very responsive and easy to deal with. The ride comfort is as good as to be expected from an off-road designed lift. The 2.2 shocks are not too soft and not too stiff even for my DD/weekend warrior. Springs are not too bouncy and have not settled too far after 6 months. I don't have any heavy bumper accessories yet so we will see how they handle that when the time comes.

Pros: beefy shocks, progressive springs
Cons: shocks are a bit stiff
Recommended? Yes

Comments: install was not too bad, i had some stuck lug nuts that had me doing the front one weekend and the rear the next weekend. do need a spring compressor since the track bar wont allow the axle to drop down far enough to allot the spring to simply slide on. currently have 300+ miles on it but the shocks are pretty stick compared to the stock gas charged ones. it has knocked my muffler loose twice, may look into getting some better ones.

Price: $600.00
Pros: Higher off the ground :)
Cons: It's pretty stiff.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I don't have any experience with other lift kits, but this one seems stiff, especially after a day of off roading. Went on easy, I installed it with no prior suspension experience.

Price: $199.99
Pros: Cheap. No modifications at all. Just shocks and springs.
Cons: It's only 2.5 inches.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: It adds a decent lift without much modification. It's springs and shocks so no cutting/welding or any other modification. It's a steal for 200 bucks off of roughcountry's website.

Price: $330.00
Pros: Love the ride, more comfortable, and does much better off-roading.
Cons: none
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I bought the stiffer 6 cylinder rated springs, and everything went in well. As usual it took longer to install as I did it myself, and this was my first lift. It rides much better than it did with the 2 inch spacers that were in there when I bought it. I also got a new steering stabilizer, all 2.2 shocks came with it. I feel it was a good lift for the price.

Price: $476.00
Pros: Cheaper than most lifts I found, right at the amount of lift I wanted. (On Ebay)
Cons: Didn't come with all the bolts and nuts to replace everything. When springs are still new my rear driveshaft grinded from the angle. Putting in homemade TC drop.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Overall not a bad kit, just some of the issues as listed above. Everything on my YJ was frozen. The bolts that go through the bushings in the leaf springs were completely rusted solid....tried breaker bars, impacts everything....Finally 45 dollars in sawzall blades later I had to buy new nuts and bolts because the kit called for reusing everything HAHA. I believe they should have included all hardware....Other than that pretty good kit rides smooth!

Price: $700.00
Pros: Progressive rate springs, spacers will take it up to 3.25 inches easy.
Cons: Rear sway bar was a Bxxxxx to line up.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I like this kit because it delivers good flex and can be adjusted easy with spring spacers. Its not rediculously high so it keeps the COG low but i can still clear, and flex with, 31s.

Price: $450.00
Pros: Nice Cost
Cons: Kit could have more components
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Installation was easy once I got the rusty bolts out. Instruction were plenty clear enough. The ride is fine with out the sway bar and track bar. Could use some longer brake lines but stock lines were able able to be reconnected. Wouldn't want to off-road much with them though. didn't need the t-case drop kit either.

Price: $300.00
Pros: Ride is not that different from stock, but it is my first lift and I haven't driven a jeep any higher than this.
Cons: It does sway a bit, which was especially noticeable after the alignment.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I had originally wanted just a spacer lift but my husband insisted on the complete lift kit. I am glad now, I don't think I would have been quite happy with just the spacers. And honestly, it looks so much better with the new coils and shocks. The old ones were rather tired looking. It rides very similar to stock, except for the sway around corners. I also had the new, bigger tires put on at the same time. Now that I'm used to the height, I am very satisfied with how it feels. I have to say, the mechanic that I chose picked this, he seemed impressed with the shocks for the price of the kit.

Pros: Cheap
Cons: Rough

Comments: I was on a tight budget due to college, and wanted some lift. Its a DD so I didn't want to go huge, but enough to clear some bigger tires than the stockers that came on it. It gets the job done as long as you aren't used to riding in a cady.

Pros: Everything!! From my research this has been the lift kit for the beginner on up! Flex is great! Handling manners are great too.
Cons: Sent the wrong shocks in the rear. But hopefully that will be fixed in a few days. (good thread by the way)
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I ordered the 2.5 lift kit with progressive springs and the 2.2 shocks. I added on the .75 BL and upgraded the steering stabalizer. When I recieved this lift kit I was living in an apartment at the time. So not only did I need a place to install It had to be fairly quick (due to the other tennants complaining about working on cars in the parking lot).
I read through the instructions and went and rented a spring compressor at schucks and I was on my way! This was the first time that iv'e ever done anything like this, but I had no hiccups! I got it done in one night by myself after the manager left for the evening.
As far as functionality it was more than I expected. A quick disconnect of the front and rear sway bars and up into the hills I went. My buddy wanted to take me to a place that was dug out by heavy machinery and my jeep looked like a cartoon walking through the dig outs.
Road handling is just fine (its a jeep).
Overall this company has had great customer service that produces a product that is above expectations. They definately have a customer for life.
