As the industry finest and most proven adjustable shock absorber Rancho’s RS9000X patented 9-position technology leads in all categories: Ease of use, Durability, Fit and Performance.

The RS9000X is fully adjustable while mounted on the vehicle which allows drivers to easily "dial in" their ride for precise control in any condition, tuning the compression and rebound damping is easily metered by manually changing the setting on the dial at the the bottom of each shock. Also available and sold separately is the all new RCX remote control damping system (R99701), which allows independent front a rear damping control from the cab of your vehicle. Representing an entirely new level of technology for off-road, street or highway driving.

Comments: Bought from Jeepers and Creepers in LA shipped along with an RS5000 Rancho steering damper to Aus very happy with J&C's and the shocks-not so much so with the damper--it dosen't fit uless you fabricate a bracket for it if you have the slightest lift , this was something all rancho dealers didn't tell me in spite of my specificly asking.

Rancho RS9000X Adjustable Shock Absorber
Pros: great in ease of adjusting
Cons: have not found any
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I even invert the front ones and they still work great (the new gray ones are not reversible) Have the air adjust and works with ease. I would use again.

Rancho RS9000X Adjustable Shock Absorber
Pros: Noticeable difference in adjustments, good value
Cons: Pain to adjust, have to buy onboard adjustment kit to make truly worthwhile
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Very good shocks for the money, but adjusting them becomes old after a while, so I found myself setting them in between my on- and off-road settings and living with the compromise. Made their presence known when towing a trailer or several hundred pounds of camping gear and friends, because adjusting them for the added load made a big difference in the ride and handling.

Rancho RS9000X Adjustable Shock Absorber
Pros: Fully Adjustable and you can feel the difference, Inboard adjustment kit a must!
Cons: difficult to adjust without inboard kit, inboard kit requires pump and air which must be set up right or it leaks in time!
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I have used these shocks for the last two years on a Grand Cherokee with 5" of lift on short arms. I didn't appreciate the shocks until I installed the pump and inboard adjustment for on the fly.

That feature took me from once in awhile adjusting, to adjusting all the time and enjoying the results of being able to change the ride and performance from going over rocks to driving down the freeway towing a tent trailer.

First thought of as a toy, it instantly changed my mind from replacing the shocks to high dollar gas shocks available. I may make that change some day, but for now I am sticking with a proven product.

Bang for the buck, with the inboard adjustment kit, you will not beat these shocks!

Highly recommended..... I rate these shocks 10 in "Bang for the Buck"
