The ES 1000 performance series shock absorber is designed to replace the factory shock and provides optimum performance enhancing driving comfort and vehicle control. To provide a superior seal for the S-924 high temperature shock fluid, a multi- lip, spring tensioned rod seal is used. Utilizing a 1 3/8" nylon banded full displacement piston head and double welded shock mounts, the ES 1000 assures strength and long lasting durability for even the most demanding of driving conditions.

Price: $24.99
Pros: Much more forgiving than the ES3000. Very good bang for the buck.
Cons: Still a $25 shock. Not going to compete with a Bilstein or the like.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I bought a set of these from Summit Racing to be a temporary holdover when I went from a REBB, to a Full Traction kit. They were even better than the Doetsch Techs that came from RE. A lot of people confuse them with their rough riding brother the ES3000. I have ran them for a few years now and haven't worried about replacing them anytime.

Comments: Might as well weld a solid piece of steel between the shock mounts, it would probably give a better ride.
