For nearly a decade, Monroe® Sensa-Trac® shocks and struts have been a trusted ride control product for drivers who want ultimate comfort with added control. Sensa-Trac shocks and struts have groove tube technology that features precision tapered grooves that allow fluid to flow freely around the piston, creating a smoother ride under the wide range of driving conditions. During emergency maneuvers or braking, the piston travels beyond the grooves firming up the ride for added safety and control when it is needed most.

Price: $40.00
Pros: Easy installation.
Cons: could be better for towing but, these aren't heavy duty.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Added a set of rear shocks, big improvement over stock shocks. Drops a little low when towing a 3,000lb boat but, that is to be expected.

Price: $250.00
Pros: No comparison to worn out originals.
Cons: Glad I didn't do it myself. A few bolts needed to be cut.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: My 01 TJ has 97k miles with original shocks. One had leaked most fluid and had almost zero rebound. We used this mainly on the road so ride quality was important, it is stock height.
The new Sensa-Tracs made it like a new vehicle. It is stable, yet firm. No more body lean on the country roads. The shocks are firm, not plush like a Lincoln.
Just right in my opinion.
Price was installed.

Price: $92.00
Pros: Excellent quality and gave me 1.5" of lift in rear in addition to the 2" from the Rough Country Spacer Lift.
Cons: None
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Installed the #58643 which are for the Ford F-150. This allowed me to gain an additional 1.5" in the rear and maintain the "raked" stance. I did not want the saggy bottom look, plus I carry a lot of tools in the back. Install time took maybe 10 minutes per side. Very pleased.

Pros: Nice ride quality
Cons: N/A
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Had these for five months now and I am very pleased. These shocks made excellent replacements for my 1994 Jeep XJ 4.0. These shocks do not give you the feeling of driving on clouds but surely smooth things out.

Price: $92.00
Pros: Longer travel, no droop with load, controlled ride, price $92 for two shipped!
Cons: a little harder to install than stock length shocks.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I used the F150 length load levelers on my WK. The ride quality is so much better. Turns feel controlled and going over bumps or potholes are hardly noticeable. The ride is not harsh or stiff like I was afraid of.

Price: $160.00
Pros: Easy installation
Cons: None
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Easy bolts breaking off like I have read in previous threads. I guess there's not lots of rust in Alabama vs up North. The vehicle rides better and handles with ease.

Pros: Smooth ride. Nice and stiff
Cons: On first set, three of the four leaked oil after a couple years-but they have lifetime warranty and I got free replacements on all four!

Comments: They are great shocks w/out spending too much. The limited lifetime warranty is nice too
