My OME Nitrochargers finally wore out and I replaced them with the newer Fox 2.0 IFP shocks....wow, drives like a new Jeep from my perspective.

Price: $129.00
Pros: Amazing control. Love the stiffness. Makes the jeep feel sporty again.
Cons: The price is pretty steep.. but worth it

Comments: My previous lift was 2.5 OME.. New lift- Currie 4" with Savvy/FOX 2.0... OME had an amazing road ride and were good/great off road.. But I switched up to Currie 4 inch springs and needed longer shocks to match. Found a rear pair of Savvy's custom valved FOX shocks (for the Currie springs) in the classifieds for 200.. Jumped on the opportunity and picked up a pair of fronts from Savvy... Just got them all bolted up this weekend. All i gotta say is WOW! The OME were softer then the FOXS.. But I like the feel of the FOXS.. Less body roll and less pogo feel (possibly due to different springs). When hitting a bump the suspension simply cycles once, then its back onto the next section of road. Jeep feels much more planted to the road. Took a short washboard road to test control ability off road. Holy crap. These things take the washboards like they're nothing.. Complete control. Had to check that i was actually on the washboards.

Summary: Old- OME. New- Savvy/FOX 2.0; Road ride- tie, rider preference but i like the fox. Price- OME. Control/body roll- FOX. Washboards- FOX hands down. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended. Save for the fox shocks. Couldn't be happier with them!

Comments: My OME Nitrochargers have served me well for over 5 years but just quit performing well this last EJS and the ride home was twitchy. Check one front leaking shock and found all four had "bit the dust." I decided to give these a try after seeing them at EJS and so far they outperform my previous set, but then honestly, they were worn out...will edit this review after a bit more off-road checking.
