Some of the highest quality shocks I have seen. Brushed aluminum casing really adds for a great look and light weight. Extremely smooth ride even with the highest of lifts.

A+

Comments: I purchased the 5150 series and they are great. I went with YJ springs with an SOA set up and ordered the Bilsteins for my application. Nice riding shock...

Bilstein 5100 Series
Pros: looks great from behind, smooth ride, no problems
Cons: none yet, other than installing them.....but that's all of them
Recommended? Yes

Comments: they're awesome. cheap at 50 each from autozone, and the only problems i have is they're not adjustable. i'll upgrade when it's time to rebuild them though. maybe upgrade to the separate reservoir set or something...any way. i have yet to seriously wheel with them on but for street they're great. bumps are no problems, corners are great, and braking is better since i have no nose-dive issues. it helped that i did springs at the same time though.

Comments: just put them on my Rubi with 3" full traction lift. I was amazed at how smooth the ride was right off the bat. it wasn't soft, but just the right amount of firm, and handles well aroung corners and when braking. Definatley reccommend this shock to anyone!

Bilstein 5100 Series
Pros: great ride
Cons: blows out easy
Recommended? No

Comments: I was wheelen with 2 people in the back and on the way home the back was bouncing around at the slightest bump. It was lifting so far up I could feel the drive shaft and the u-joint chopping at each other. I got home and the shock was leaking like a no other. Anyway I sent them back to Bilstein and they sent me new ones. So no harm, but the rear metal insert in the bottom shock hole didnít fit it the shock bracket. So I filed it down, it fits now. it is a good shock when it works.
