MSRP: $480.00
Average Price: $272.84
Manufacturer: Bilstein

Yes: 105 / No: 4

Some of the highest quality shocks I have seen. Brushed aluminum casing really adds for a great look and light weight. Extremely smooth ride even with the highest of lifts.

A+

Cons: None

Comments: Bought these from Kolak. He was extremely helpful and informative. Had to replace my OEM's (only two years old and already worn out) and what a ride difference. Don't feel the bumps that used to make be skip on the highway...just a much smoother ride.

Comments: I needed new shocks and struts and wanted to go with something more than OEM replacements. I am very happy with these shocks and struts, and I picked up a little more clearance with them as well.

Price: $325.00
Pros: Ride, handling
Cons: Install
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Amazing shocks I had Rancho 9000X adjustables before and thought i had good ride. These are just night and day its amazing how smooth the ride is girlfriend loves them she can atually fall asleep in the jeep now!!

Handling is so much better used to skip accross the road in a turn if I hit a bump no matter what the Ranchos setting was now the shocks just suck it up no skip nothing.
I did have a little scare with the new ones there is this one bump I go over is bad and my jeep would skip a good foot when I hit it but with the Bilsteins I was correcting for the skip and there was none found myself heading for the guard rail LOL. nice to see that the shocks do there job now no more correction needed.

Pros: Awesome ride!
Cons: Too new to identify any cons.

Comments: I Installed Bilstein 5100s on all 4 corners with of a 3.5" Rubicon Express lift (resulted in 4" of lift on my 2-door Rubi). Originally installed the Bilstein steering dampner too, but the pressurized Bilstein prevented straight and true tracking at highway speeds. I can't speak for non-2012 JKs, but on my 2012 Rubicon, I was unable to effectively access the passenger side front top shock mount without removing the battery, air filter box, and loosening the plastic shelf supporting the battery and fuse box. Some have cut an access hole in the plastic shelf instead, but I preferred to loosen it and move it aside during the install instead. Also, I reused the original OEM rubber insulators on the front top shock mounts instead of the Bilstein provided materials because I felt the OEM parts would provide better insulating properties.
