Pros: Heavy duty! Raised fill hole.
Cons: Supplied bolts are cheap and WILL NOT withstand the torque requirements of a Lube Locker gasket without twisting off in your axle! DO NOT USE THEM!
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Attempted to use the diff guard with a lube locker reusable gasket which requires a first torque of 15 fp and a second of 32 fp. The first bolt I tried to apply 32 fp quickly twisted off in my axle!

Pros: Designed for JK Rubicon e-Lockers, recessed fasteners, good price
Cons: None
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I replaced the stock front and rear diff covers with these. Painted them with Rustoleum black bedliner and then painted the logos silver. I liked the fact that they had the flat area required to connect the wires for the OEM Rubicon electronic lockers. No problems so far.

Pros: Solid and thick and no lip. Cool looking. Doesn't come painted so you can do whatever you want easily.
Cons: Doesn't come painted so you have to do it yourself.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Everything is fine except I wish it was painted already or powder coated, but thats just me. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 is because I kept breaking the hardware that is provided with the cover. I was using a torque wrench and going to 35 ft/lb., but then I gave up on that and went and got grade 8 hardware and still broke bolts at 30 ft/lbs, I eventually ended up with grade 8 hardware torqued to 25-30 ft/lbs. No problems yet.

Price: $109.00
Pros: Beefy, stainless hardware, looks
Cons: one bolt recess was a little close on the Rear 8.25 and made for a tight fit with socket but I'm being nit picky. They don't give you enough silicone to seal the rear so you have to buy a bigger tube....it's just enough to do the D30 cover and that is pushing it.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Great looking covers that fit perfect and seal up nicely. Paint mine with black semigloss and they look fantastic. NOTHING to hang up one and sealed perfectly the first time!!

I paid cost and couldn't believe how much of a mark up there is for retail customers.

Price: $198.00
Pros: Very heavy duty
Cons: None as of yet
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I received the D44 and D30 differential covers from Northridge 4x4 a few days ago. Prepped and painted them, and just waiting to install. They are considerably more heavy duty than the stock covers, and are an upgrade I consider essential to any jeep that will see the trails. I am a satisfied customer!

Price: $99.99
Pros: Very heavy duty, low profile, easy to install, no lips to catch on
Cons: None
Recommended? Yes

Comments: The riddler cover is 100% solid. There is no doubt in my mind that it will protect my diff and gears from anything that I can throw at it on the trail. It's easy to install, doesn't take up a ton of room, and has a very clean look. I have one on my ford 8.8 rear axle and love it.

Price: $110.00
Pros: Beefy material (3/8" thick), perfectly shaped to the differential, includes new hardware, comes unpainted allowing you to customize.
Cons: Fill plug is an Allen bolt style. Ended up using the stock drain plug instead (less tools to carry around)
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Overall these are extremely well made (just watch the video), provide a smooth design, and are a significant upgrade over stock. No clearance issues on the front or rear ('03 Rubicon). Got F&R from ROKMEN for $220.

Why run the risk of punching a hole in the stock cover and risk loosing your bearings, gears, locker, etc.?
