Comments: Nice bumper. Sturdy tire carrier. The finish on the bumper is terrible. After only 4 months with no, I mean NO abuse, the powdercoating is already peeling off and rust is showing in some spots.

Warn Rockcrawler Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier
Pros: The bumper itself is strong
Cons: Hard to install, Started to wobble after 2 years, Expensive
Recommended? No

Comments: I bought this bumper pretty soon after I bought my YJ and about 2 years later it started to wobble and eventually got so bad it felt like it was going to fall off. Needless to say, I removed it. I ran a 33" spare on it, but Warn claims the bumper can handle up to a 35" I believe.

Warn Rockcrawler Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier
Pros: durability,design,budget 2 stage approach.
Cons: instructions a little weak
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I really like Warn products, so that is why i decided to go with their bumpers.Being able to buy the bumper without the swing away tire carrier was a plus in my book. About a month later i bought the tire carrier. Being able to buy the bumper for a tire carrier or not was smart thinking on Warn's part.

Warn Rockcrawler Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier
Price: $700.00
Pros: Quality made product
Cons: Difficult installation
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This bumper was quite time consuming to install. However the quality and overall look of the bumper and carrier are well worth the time spent installing it. Update: after sveral month powder coating has faded and is chipping very easily in sevral places. The latching mechanism is wearing quickly.

Warn Rockcrawler Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier
Pros: Strong, Tight, Stiff, Warn
Cons: Install, HiLift Mod
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I love mine - mainly because it is tight/stiff - it never has road or trail rattle and it is easy to open/close. However, one draw back is it should come ready to slap on Hi Lift brackets -- as it is there is just no way without welding.

Warn Rockcrawler Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier
Price: $750.00
Pros: Very solid bumper once and if you are able to get all the bolts in
Cons: The instructions weren't very informative
Recommended? Yes

Comments: First off this bumper is a huge pain to install. The directions aren't clear as to how someone would get all the bolts in. If you have this bumper or you know a friend that has it you know exactly what I'm talking about. Having to put the swing arm on the bumper before mounting made it a challenge for one person to install, so I should have bought a few 12 packs and invited the buddies over.

People really don't give this bumper credit and only scored it low based on how hard it was to install properly. When I bought my jeep the previous owner had a custom rear bumper put together with a tire carrier and it sucked. The Warn bumper has no problem holding my 35 solid and doesn't rattle around as mush as some that I have seen. The install took me a little over 4 hours and yes, I got all the bolts in, "L" brackets on the outter corners and the 4 inner bolts. I'm sure it would be fine with out the 4 inner bolts, but since they are present I felt they should be put on no matter how much I cursed. The finished product is great and I feel much more comfortable with this bumper holding my spare while on the highway. The last thing I need is to pay for the damage my spare tire caused flying off my jeep.

Yes, this bumper is a little expensive but if you feel it is worth it then don't worry about the price. I gave this bumper a "9" because even though it is a pita, it is a quality product and very well designed.

Warn Rockcrawler Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier
Pros: Looks good, sturdy
Cons: PAIN TO INSTALL
Recommended? No

Comments: This thing took lots of modification to install. The directions(which there was about 10 copies of) suck. Warn can do better than this.
