Here is the TJ Frame Tie-in Kit you've been looking for. Made from 3/8" thick steel it is designed to bolt up in the rear corner of your TJ's frame to strengthen that rear crossmember when you bolt on an aftermarket bumper. Definately required if using the Jeep for towing. Also great for offroading when the rear bumper is used as a pulling point. Helps to make sure bumper stays where it belongs... on your Jeep! Some aftermarket kits just supply the brackets and a few nuts and bolts. They can be a bear to install as the upper hole in the frame is very hard to reach. I've made it easy for you by welding a flat strap onto a Grade 8 bolt so the bolt can be inserted up through the hole in the bottom of the frame. The same strap will then keep the bolt from spinning while you tighten downt the nut. Take a look at your TJ's frame and see if you'd rather struggle inserting a bolt thru the hole or if you'd rather do it with my kit. My kit comes with Grade 8 hardware to mount the bracket to the frame. You reuse your bumper's attaching hardware thru the crossmember. If you decide this is the TJ Frame Tie-in Kit for you, I accept Paypal, Money Orders, Cashier's Checks and even Personal Checks (must clear prior to shipping). As always, thank you for looking and good luck!!!! GROUNDPOUNDERFAB@VERIZON.NET

Price: $1.00
Pros: Rock solid tie-ins. Thick, reinforced with gussets and beautiful welds. Price included with my rear bumper.
Cons: None.

Comments: I got two sets to attach my rear bumper with swing out tire carrier because I had also beefed up the rear crossmember by 3/8". I use a pair of these on the inside and outside of the frame rails. Eddie is super easy to work with and provides a great product!

Ground Pounder Fab Frame Tie-in brackets
Pros: tough, they fit, genious straps welded to bolts
Cons: none
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Feel confident towing with these tie-ins that fit great. Easy to install. Most bumpers with hitches only attach to the weak stock cross-member. These beasts make your recovery bumper a part of your frame. And he only sells what he has in stock. Took 3 days to get mine.
