Last year I bought the GenRight Swing Down Tire Carrier and love it. I run 40" tires and lifting a spare onto a normal tire rack is almost impossible to do by yourself. With this, you roll your tire on to it, secure it and swing it up. It is really sturdy, doesn't rattle or ever come loose. It is a great product and worth the money. The only downfall to this is the visibility, you really can not see out the back at all because the tire blocks your view. This may be a problem if you are street driving your jeep. When off road, you don't have to worry as much because you can just bump up against whatever is behind you and it doesn't really affect the tire or the carrier. Overall i would recommend this to the serious wheeler with 37'' plus tires.

Cons: a bit pricey

Comments: great design. departure angle is a huge advantage...also holds tire securely without rattle.
