Comments: I bought this with the steering skid as well I had to re drill the driver side bolt holes in the top side. Also had to use a jack to move it in to place, almost seemed a bit out of wack, maybe slightly twisted. Three years later starting to get a bit of rust on the welds, but for the price, a little drilling and some new paint soon i would buy it again.

Comments: I ordered this because im starting to dig the shorty style bumpers and this had a low price. This thing is built solid and fits perfect. The only thing i hate is you have to either buy after market lights or bend the light tabs to run them on top, mine point in the air with the factory fogs adjusted all the way forward, i would still recommend this bumper.

Comments: Well my bumper arrived and all of the boult holes were off by about 3/8" of an inch. so i called fabtech and they said they wouldnt send a replacement because they cant make a bumper to fit everything. even though its clearly stated to fit my jeep. So i had to spend the weekend drilling out the bolt holes to fit. then i go to put it on, the middle two bolts on the on the skid plate were off too!! It may look cool, but i would not buy it again knowing the PITA it was.

Comments: I recently bought and installed the Fabtech prerunner front bumper for my 04 LJ and it's a very well made bumper, the powder coat is very thick and the welds are just as clean.
Installation: This was very easy. I was able to install the bumper in under an hour (and I was going slow). First you remove the stock bumper, and bolt o the Fabtech bumper. Yes that easy.

The Good: Like I said before, the bumper is well made. It also comes with a 3/16" thick front skid plate and two 3/4" recovery shackles. Another positive aspect is that the bumper has a mounting point for a steering box skid plate (from Fabtech of course). And you can mount your original fog lights onto the bumper which leads me to the bad.

The Bad: The only bad thing about the bumper is that if you want to use our original fog lights you will have to purchase fog light extensions from DC because the wires are too short for the mounting points on the top of the bumper.

Other than that this is a great bumper, and is one that I would recommend to anyone else.
