Price: $500.00 Pros: Got a great deal. Came with a free Smittybilt winch. Cons: I don't think they make it anymore. Recommended? Yes
Comments: I stumbled upon a great deal on this bumper from 4wd.com last year. I think it was an advertising mistake actually. Fab Fours was discontinuing the model I bought so it was marked down from $1100 to under $500. 4wd.com was offering a free Smittybilt 8000lb winch with purchase of a Fab Fours bumper. Easy to install the bumper to the TJ and the winch to the bumper. Super tough. I backed into the bumper with my wife's Xterra. Not so much as a scratch on the bumper. Wish I could say that for the Xterra.
Price: $450.00 Pros: Great price. Went on sale when they quit making this model and came with a free Smittybilt winch! Cons: Heavy. Can't get them anymore. Recommended? Yes
Comments: Very stout stinger bumper. I ran into it with my wife's Xterra (not on purpose). Busted up the Xterra and didn't even scratch the powder coat on the stinger. Really heavy though. Will compress front springs a little especially with a winch. Not real easy to install.
Price: $435.00 Pros: Heavy duty steel
Good powdercoating job.
Intergrated D-Ring mounts Cons: None Recommended? Yes
Comments: I shopped around for several months for a different bumper. The Fab Fours bumpers cant be beat for quality. This thing is super tough, doesn't weigh that much compared to others. Install is a brease...just bolt on to the frame. The Stinger is a practical one, it sits higher than the hood (as it should to protect radiator...etc in case of a roll over), and it is properly welded and reinforced so that it won't give during use. The design was well thought out as this doesn't catch any rock with its rounded design. Intergrated D-Ring mounts. High quality powder coating.
