Product Information

MSRP: $1,200.00
Average Price: $650.29
Manufacturer: ARB
Recommended?
Yes: 77 / No: 1

The ARB bullbar is an excellent product. It is well constructed and affords a very high degree of protection. (See pictures in my gallery of an ARB on my XJ that got totaled) The product is very easy to install, can be done by one person but two would be better, and comes with all hardware required. Install time is about 2-3 hours.

I originally purchased the one on my XJ to protect me from Deer, but after seeing how good it stood up in the accident, I ordered the one for my WJ even before I picked up the Jeep.

Comments: The ARB Bullbar is a great product and looks great, however, it adds significant weight to the front for those who are concerned with balance.

Comments: Not as good as some, kinda pricey. Depends on how hard your gonna abuse it. Warren has much more durable products. Position of winch SUCKS!

Comments: Very nice. Strong and tough. driven into plenty of rocks and only a few minor scratches to show for it. Non winch bar can be easily modified to fit a winch.

ARB Bullbar
Price: $1,200.00

Comments: A bumper not just for bumping. Increases approach angle, tire clearance, provides sturdy tow points, a place to mount aux lighting, radio antenna, and a CB antenna. Designed to crumple, and looks fantastic.

ARB Bullbar
Price: $600.00

Comments: My brother was driving my TJ and a new subaru outback pulled out right in front of him. The outback appeared to be totaled. The only damage to my TJ was chipping in the bullbar's powdercoat. Then his insurance bougt me a new bullbar.

ARB Bullbar
Price: $770.00
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Yes, they're overweight and further add to the already front heavy TJ (with a 4.0 and the winch)...but I really like the added protection of having the corner to corner length both on and off the trail compared to other aftermarket bumpers.

After almost 3 years, the powdercoating is still perfect (except where destroyed by rocks, but that's no fault of their powdercoating abilities).

ARB Bullbar
Pros: Strong but light weight, Protects lights, has 4 extra light mounts, makes it hard to steel winch.
Cons: D-Ring mounts may rub on extreme angles. D-Rings are little thin (but Strong)
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I've had my ARB bumper for half a year now and love it. Strong but light compared to others. The winch mount are inside the bumper so keeps it out of view and out of direct weathering. Itís a Pain to maintain winch though. By having it inside the bumper does help keep airflow to the radiator clear.

Extra Features:
These bumpers come with four mounting points for extra fog or off-road lights. Plus there come with extra turn signal lights (does not cost extra, they are included).

D-Ring mounts do get in the way on steep angles, and they are half the thickness compared to other brand bumpers like C4x4.

I have a Post 97+ version for my 98 2DR Cherokee. If you plan to get 33"+ tires you may want to get the Pre 97 model. Or you may be angry or trimming as the post 97+ end in the same place as the stock plastic bumper caps.

Fit & finish:
Top notch sums it up. Powdercoat is best in the world. Have seen others fail sooner then this brand. Even brands like AEV use ARB to powder coat there products now.

Installation:
Pre 97 is installed in 2 steps. The mounts go on first. Then the bumper attaches to the mounts. The Post 97+ version I have the mounts are welded into the bumper. Not sure if it makes it easier then the older version. But itís a 2 man process. So get some beer and call your bud. (Drink after you install it ).

Hope this helps guys & gals. If you get an ARB Bumper you will not have any regrets. I give it a 10 because I canít give it a 10+
