Tomken 2"x4" Rocker Skids made of 1/8" wall tubing with closed ends. Will support Hi-Lift jack. Stronger than nerf bars and don't take up all the ground clearance like round tubes do. Powder coated black.
Price: $240.00 Pros: Outstanding/durable powder coated finish Cons: Comes without non-skid area, needs an additional mount adjustment hole to bring it horizontally closer to the body. Recommended? Yes
Comments: Over all I'm happy with this product. LIMFACS (limiting factors) are that I had to apply a non-skid area on the top surfaces of the skids and drill additional adjustment holes in the mount flanges in order to bring them in horizontally closer to the body. Other wise no complaints.
Price: $326.45 Pros: Follow the lines of the body, act as a step, angled ends. Cons: none yet Recommended? Yes
Comments: I really like the skids. They follow the body lines nicely. They anr angled in front and rear leading to tires. I have no complaints yet, I dont do heavy crawling so I dont know the durability in that area.
Price: $220.00 Pros: strength, can use as a step Cons: instructions Recommended? Yes
Comments: purchased these 2x4" rocker skids for my TJ a year ago. Instructions were pretty vague and photos would be helpful. Skids are heavy and strong bolting directly to the frame, requiring a few holes to be drilled. Very useful as a step.
