These are designed to save your Wrangler's rockers from showing all the fun they've seen and provide easier access in and out. Include a welded on 2"dia. DOM tube for pivoting and sliding over the rocks without getting hung up. Our unique mounting plate actually "sandwiches" the frame with dual 3/8" thickness; hence no drilling is required to induce rust or possibly weaken the frame, and our 3/8" thick bracket plates distribute the load of impacts or jacking vertically across the frame (and not through a drilled in frame bolt) for serious extreme strength and less chance of damage. 2x2" 3/16" thick steel tapered front and rear to slide over and not hang up on the rough stuff. Outer tube is approx. 4.5" from the sheetmetal on the Wrangler.

Love the product. Installation is like child play. 4 bolts on each side, and you're done, although it's nice to have an extra set of hands or some other way to support them as you bolt the clamps on. All the rocks I've encounted have only scuff the powder coating, no bends or dings. Raingler's customer service has been one of the best I've ever encountered, and would strongly reccommend them to anyone.

*edit* Will not work with Rock Krawler's new bent long arms. If you're looking for a set and thinking you might go LA, make sure these will work with the arm's mounts and/or bends.

One of the nice things about these rocker guards is that they cover wheelwell-to-wheelwell.

Most (all?) of the tub mounted ones only protect flair-to-flair (like that plastic fender flair is going to protect anything ).

The step is slippery when wet.

If you're looking for frame-mounted rocker protection, these are the way to go. They cam highly rated, and I was not disappointed.

Since this picture was taken, I have scraped them up a bit at Paragon. They didn't dent, just scratched. Quick touch-up with spray-paint keeps the rust away.

Product came very well packed with no scratches in the paint. No directions though that was not a problem, only a handful of bolts and 4 pressure plates. Diamond plate also significantly reduces the amount of rock and other debris that strikes body and paint while driving. Easy install with a helper. I needed to ground down frame welds in order to properly mount the front mounts. You also must relocate lines that run down the left frame rail to accommodate the frame mounts. 20 min to 30 for entire job with grinding.

One person install. Very cool. After 2 Detroit winters the powder coat has worn off and surface rust has appeared on the top of the skid.
