Price: $198.00
Pros: Looks like it could support the weight of the whole Jeep! Bolted right in.
Cons: None.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: It's actually a Rugged Ridge 3/16" thick gas tank skid, but I didn't see that listed. After my first time out, my stock skid had two holes (mostly due to rust) and was pretty beat up. I realized how luck I was that I didn't puncture my tank. I haven't trail tested the new skid, but it looks like it would support the weight of the entire Jeep. Not only 4x thicker, but sides are fully enclosed for better strength.

Pros: Great overall protection.
Cons: HEAVY!
Recommended? Yes

Comments: It looks like it was designed to protect part of tank. I'm not worried at all about fuel tank damage. What ever stops me WON'T be a gouged or cracked tank. It's thick enough that I'm going to have to do a little work on the tail pipe to keep them from bumping but if I ever got all the rattles out of my YJ I'd feel lonely on the trail.

Price: $159.99
Pros: One of many available
Cons: Doesn't match the bolt patter on intermediate crossmember bolts
Recommended? No

Comments: What is there to say. They advertise as fits YJ and doesn't even fit the crossmember bolt pattern. Had to drill it to make it fit, and at that, it was too fat to fit properly and had to be angle drilled to work, and I had to get longer bolts.
