The Jeep TJ has it's sway bar up on top of the chassis leaving the bottom of the radiator exposed. In addition, the factory radiator uses a plastic bottom tank that can be broken leaving your Jeep without coolant. While we'll admit we haven't managed to destroy ours yet, we knew it was just a matter of time. So we designed a radiator guard to make sure that we never have to worry about it again.

This guard is made from 1/8" thick steel and attaches in two places....the body mount under the grill and the passenger side of the chassis. Drilling is required for the mount on the passenger side. All hardware is provided

Pros: Easy to install, good protection for Stock Radiator.
Cons: Worthless for an aftermarket radiator.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I wish I would have had this skid when I had my stock radiator. I now have a radiator from radiator barn and this skid just doesn't extend far enough up to provide full protection for the bottom of the radiator. Buy it to protect the stock radiator and sell it when you get an aftermarket radiator.

Comments: Doesn't really protect much but for a temporary fix till you can afford a new bumper then it works awesome. MUCH BETTER the the POS plastic Rubbermaid thing they have there from factory.

Pros: Relatively inexpensive, easy to install
Cons: Kinda thin (1/8" I think), requires drilling (1 hole)
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Good product - I actually wish the "S" logo wasn't laser cut into it - provides an opportunity (however small) for somthing to get through.

Pros: installation is a snap, looks great
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This is a must for protecting your radiator. If extreme wheeling this will save your radiator. Installation is as simple as removing one bolt, and drilling one hole. The powder coating seems like it will hold up to much abuse. Very happy so far

Installation
