Skid Row JP-0009
Price: $270.00
Pros: great protection, easy install, peace of mind
Cons: oil changes
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This thing is a beast. I have abused it quite a bit and it works. Mine mated up nicely with the Teraflex belly up. As previously mentioned, the Fumoto valve is a must have as it helps with oil changes. I still have a little difficulty getting the filter out without making a mess. Overall, this was well worth the money .

Skid Row JP-0009
Pros: Easy to install, no drilling required. Seems fairly robust.
Cons: Not quite as thick as the Jeep Medic skid, but I'm sure its more than adequate.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: The hardest part of the install what flipping the lower control arm bolt around....otherwise fairly easy and it looks like a good product.

Skid Row JP-0009
Pros: Tough as nails
Cons: None
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This was my first add-on. It definately has taken a beating. Last time out, I banged it really hard a few times. I actually managed to bend it on the reinforced side. It's just a testament to how necessary armor is and how tough Skid Row makes their products.

Skid Row JP-0009
Pros: great coverage
Cons: none
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Installed by myself - with the help of a floor jack to get into place.

Plenty of scrapes on the skid after wheelin' with 30" tires.

Also installed a fumoto valve.

Highly recommended.

Skid Row JP-0009
Price: $250.00
Pros: Great protection underneath for oil and transmission.
Cons: A little on the expensive side. If not using a drain valve, draining the oil might get a little messy.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This was one of my first investments for skid protection and I am glad I purchased it. It has saved me a couple times already. The installation of the skid was straight forward and went really smooth.

Like I mentioned in the cons, it would be a good idea to get a drain valve (like the Fumoto) and replace the stock drain bolt.
