These smooth differential skid plates not only keep you from getting hung up on your differential, but also protect the vulnerable U-joint and Yoke on TJs and the lower CV Joint on JKs. Each unit is specially designed to fit specific axles and take up virtually zero ground clearance. Slider is built primarily from 1/4″ steel and comes with a black power coat finish with all hardware. Simple hand tools required. Applications currently include all TJ and JK Dana 44 rear axles and TJ Dana 44 and 30 Front Axles. All models are suitable for mounting our Stinger for the ultimate in traction.

Price: $250.00
Pros: AEV rear slider completely protects the low-riding driveshaft CV joints and collar.
Cons: Heavy when installing and kinda pricey.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: AEV rear slider completely protects the low-riding driveshaft CV joints and collar. I have hit, drug and smacked it pretty good but really keeps me rolling. A little weight back there seems to help with traction as well.

Comments: Nth Degree rear slider with Stinger boom. Works well and has proven to assist while rock climbing.

Pros: Quality product
Cons: None

Comments: Pinion Protection Each Slider extends under the pinion yoke to protect the vulnerable U-joint from rock damage.
Maximum Ground Clearance Each Slider is specifically designed to fit so tightly that it conserves 100% of your axle’s original ground clearance by butting up to the casting flange rather than being under it.
Tough Construction using ¼” steel to create an unbreakable ‘ski’ for your differential.
Smooth Design uses minimal bends/edges to hide the rough, snag-prone contours of the factory casting – especially the casting flange around the cover.
Easy Installation in minutes using three special U-bolts (most applications) with no cutting, grinding, etc.

AEV Rear Differential Slider
Price: $249.00
Pros: Very easy to install, great coverage of rear drive shaft joint and very heavily built/fabricated - what you would expect from AEV
Cons: Pricey -
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I had "dinged" my rear Rzeppa joint in Moab and realized this joint hangs down a bit and is exposed to rock damage - this slider is an excellent way to protect the joint especially if you have some real expensive after market U joints on a custom shaft.
