Pros: Thick high strength steel plating w/ ribbed edges for extra strength.
Cons: It came with only three riv-nuts & bolts.
Recommended? Yes
Comments: I didn't use those crazy riv-nuts that came with it. I tapped a total of 5 1/2"-20 holes and used high strength torx bolts with permanent locktite instead of only the three mounting spots the instructions had in mind.(I didn't trust the riv-nuts made from aluminum and steel)

Comments: Better than nothing. IF your XJ did not come with a skid, you will need to get nutserts from the dealer and make a special tool to crush them into place.
