Price: $60.00
Pros: Cheep and Easy to Install
Cons: Not as sturdy as other more expensive skid plates
Recommended? Yes

Comments: My Jeep is currently my daily driver, so I don't try to push the limits too far. So given that, This plate is perfect because it is cheep insurance that if I do hit a hidden rock, I will have a little more protection. I wouldn't recommend it if you are planning on hitting a lot of rocks on a regular basis.

Pros: Work's great for light to mild offroading, perfect for my application.
Cons: Nutserts are a PITA to install in the frame rail
Recommended? Yes

Comments: The only bad part of this process is installing the nutserts in the frame rail. One of mine didn't latch correctly, so I currently have just three bolts holding the skid on. I'm at stock height and hit the crossmember on just about everything... so this is just what I need. I haven't tried it out yet but this thing is pretty beefy for OEM. Great for light/medium offroading.

Price: $50.00
Pros: Protects the transfer case. Affordable
Cons: Not very thick.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: It is pretty decent for the most part and it is good to know that my T-case is now someone what protected. Could be a bit more beefy.

Price: $55.00
Pros: Easy to install, better than not having a skid.
Cons: Lighter weight than aftermarket skids.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Price vs. protection, I think this is about the best value going. Obviously not for serious rock crawling, but for an occaisional off road jaunt, it will work.

Pros: Great for the price!
Cons: None yet.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I haven't truely put it to the test yet but it's beefier than I expected for a factory part. Looks like it would hold up to some hard hits. At least it will take a few blows before your TC.

Mopar WJ Transfer Case Skid Plate
Price: $70.00
Recommended? Yes

Comments: A decent factory skid plate that does its job. I've come down on the Mopar skid fairly hard and it held up fine. Plus its a good skid for the price. Got it from the dealership and it came with all the necessary hardware, nutserts and nutsert tool.

Comments: It's a $50 skid plate. The only reason not to have it would be if you have a better one instead.

Comments: This is a good skid plate for the occasional off-roader that will take a hit or two it is definitely not for hardcore wheeling (I messed my original one up pretty bad going way beyond my cars limit)

Price: $50.00

Comments: beefier than i thought it would be. it has gone through a lot. i dont think my tcase would be functioning if it werent for this thing. may not be the best for serious rock crawling but it puts up with a hell of a lot for beginning to moderate trails. mine still isnt bent or dented.
