Comments: Weld on - can use with stock or beefier LCA mounts. Can be used with stock control arms but you will need to grind away a bit of the control arm so it doesn't rub against the skid at full stuff.
Comments: I have these. I use my control arm mount as a jacking point now. I've beat these things pretty hard, and for the money it's one of the better modifications I've made. Before I had these I bent up a control arm mount. They weld along both sides, and to the axle tube, so they are as solid as a rock. On top of that, Mike Green is a great guy and wholeheartedly supports, and is very active in, off roading.
Price: $22.00 Pros: Fit is perfect with stock control arms Cons: The only thing that could be better would be to have them in 1/4" Recommended? Yes
Comments: I just swapped in a HP30 front axle and wanted to make sure that my LCA mounts stayed nice and straight. I found Mike Green's LCA Skids work with stock control arms (which I still have). The skids are 3/16" thick and machined perfectly to be attached on three sides. I was even surprised to find there was a left & right skid - meaning that the tube side was cut on an angle for a better fit.
