Comments: Awesome! Takes hit after hit. Just don't tighten the straps too much, it'll pull on the tank and force the fuel pump out, making a leak, which sucks

Comments: Nice Skid Plate, gives an extra inch or so of clearance, much stronger, and a better departure angle.

Comments: A great product, very tough, raises the tank and protects it well. Offers some fore/aft adjustability to provide rear differential clearance.

Comments: AWESOME product that not only is a great skid plate but also RAISES the gas tank clearance over the wimpy stock Rubicon skid plate if installed with a 1" body lift and the EVAP system is slightly modified.

Comments: Easy to install with 2 people but I don't recommend doing it by yourself without a trans or atv jack to hold the skid and tank in place.

Pros: Quality, fitment, toughness, in a word . . . everything
Cons: N/A
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I'm running the CJ version, but I don't see why I can't post my review here (and I'm too lazy to start a new review). This skid went on in about two hours and is everything a guy running very little lift could ask for. I have beat the crap out of this thing on multiple occasions and the only damage has been to the powder coat, which touches up nice with a rattle can.

I purchased it from Jason over at Jeepin.com . . . free shipping and even saved 5% with the Jeepforum discount.

Pros: Tough, 1" more clearance, easy install
Cons: none
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Did the install by myself. It took an extra few minutes routing the filler tube but wasn't difficult. The fit was perfect on my '00 TJ right out of the box. Spend the extra money and buy the best the first time around, it'll save you heartburn in the long run.

Cons: None

Comments: I feel a lot better knowing my fuel pump is no longer vulnerable. Have not been able to beat on it yet, but it's only been in for 10 minutes. I have no worries. Thanks Kilby!

Pros: Super Strong great powdercoating
Cons: Instructions leave someting to be desired
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Great product for us guys without huge lifts. Works real nice when your draggin' your hinney off rock ledges, ect. Take smartshot's advice on the instructions at http://www.4x4xplor.com/kilby.html they are alot better than Kilby's. This is one that's definetly worth the money!

Pros: Raises the tank 1", Takes a lickin!
Cons: Heavy, but thats to be expected
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I have beat my kilby tank skid to death and it hasn't deformed from it original shape one bit. The powder coating is a little scratched on the bottom, but i have no complaints there, it did its job! Highly recommended, any monkey with a floor jack and a ratchet can do the install!
