These motor mounts are built just as durable as our proven mounts but will raise the engine 1-inch. Used on the Wrangler vehicles, this will help with driveline angles when using a suspension lift.
(1) Slight modification to fan shroud may be necessary.
(2) Some vehicles require 1-inch body kit.
Price: $90.00 Pros: Beefy, good price Cons: requires 9/16" x 5" bolt that is not supplied. Recommended? No
Comments: They look beefy as hell, but they do not include any instructions (or any indication on their website) that they require the tabs on the engine block to be drilled out to accommodate a 9/16" x 5" bolt that is not included. With the factory motor mount bolt, the inner diameter of the metal sleeves in the motor mount is much bigger, causing a lot of slack. I don't need to explain how having excess play between two metal components in a motor mount is a bad thing.
Good luck finding a 9/16" x 5" bolt on short notice, too!
Comments: Seem fine after the installation but the spacers on the sides of the mount are seperate unlike the M.O.R.E design that integrates a single elongated tube. I would've bought M.O.R.E. if it hadn't been for the price.
