Price: $285.00 Pros: Runs like a scalded ape Cons: Had to tweak to meet emissions Recommended? Yes
Comments: This is a great carb for the jeep. I am self taught and follow the manual and found it to be easy when I read the instructions and took my time to dial it in. I did have to have a pro re-jet it to get it within the tolerance for emissions, but otherwise it was a breeze

Price: $349.99 Pros: Easy install for a novice as myself. Cons: Directions lacked clarity. Recommended? Yes
Comments: It was a real easy install considering It was the first time i've ever done anything with a carb. My jeep started up right after install and already runs better than the original Carter, and this is without any tuning yet.

Price: $250.00 Pros: better performance Cons: won't pass smog now Recommended? Yes
Comments: Before I had the stock carter 2bbl, after installing and using a few posts on here along the way, my YJ will fire up instantly every time and runs much smoother. Before, my jeep would sometimes die at a stop sign from the idle jet tubes being packed full of crud, and hasn't happened since. Would recommend this product to anyone fed up with the jank carter or looking for more performance out of their jeep.

Price: $300.00 Pros: Everything Cons: None, should have done it sooner Recommended? Yes
Comments: Great upgrade. I would stall at every stop and it would not idle without the 2 foot 3 pedal shuffle. Wish I had more info on what to do with all of the extra vacuum line that are no longer needed.

Price: $340.00 Pros: Refined, responsive and respected, Easy to tune and should satisfy the user on any four or six cylinder Jeep application. Cons: None that I have expeienced in over twelve years of using this Series of Weber. Recommended? Yes
Comments: I had the pleasure of installing this carb in '96. Since then have had several and currently have two installed on AMC 258's. Extremely pleased and would recommend it to anyone shopping for a genuine up grade to their Jeep. If you are looking for a manual choke set rather than the Elect. (signified by the 'E' in the Series DGEV) then a manual cup could easily be adapted in place of the Bi metal spring cup or you would save bucks by shopping for the DGV 32/36 instead by saving you the cost of the Choke Assembly entirely. Either of these carbs, DGEV 32/36 or the DGV 32/36 would be a wise choice to make.
If your Jeep has the water heated intake manifold then you may want to check out this DGAV 32/36 same distinct quality as the DGEV, DGV 32/36 but with the Aqua Choke. Select one of these and I assure you it would be your pleasure to spread the good news as these other users have.

Comments: The difference over the carter is day and night, there's literally no comparison, no more stalling, more power, and about the same gas mileage.
