Champion Truck Plug was designed specifically for pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles. Features include a black glazed, zirconia-enhanced ceramic insulator which offers 40% more strength than other spark plugs. This provides durability under rough driving conditions. The massive copper cored it center and ground electrodes are 20% larger than ordinary spark plugs. This design allows the plug to thrive in the rough environments of trucks and sport utility vehicles. Tests have shown substantial increase in electrode life over standard designs in truck engines. The plug carries a threeyears/unlimited mileage warranty. When you want a no-compromise spark plug for a truck or sport utility vehicle, Champion Truck Plug is the one.

Besides they run well, install easy and have a nice black and Gold outer paint job with copper core inside

Comments: Put a set of these in my '04 4.0L TJ and within 2 weeks, I got a MIL indicating an intermittent cylinder misfire. Later that week, on my way home from work, my MIL came on and started blinking, and the Jeep went into "limp home mode". I pulled into a Wal-Mart parking lot and the engine was barely running. Suspecting the plugs, I went into the store and bought a pack of Autolites and changed the plugs in the parking lot.

Jeep ran great after that and later testing would show TWO bad plugs out of the 6 Champions. Cracked electrodes. I will NEVER put a Champion plug in anything again Not even my lawnmower.

Comments: I bought the Champion Iridium Plugs for my 4.0L and they are amazing in every possible way. Very pleased with the improvement.

Comments: Installed these about 5 months ago...started getting a misfire in my number 1 cylinder. Pulled the plug...insolater was cracked and electrode collapsed. After further inspection, compression test, etc....it was the plugs failure. Piece of junk...won't by Champion's ever again. I switched to the Bosch iridium's...love them

Cons: getting pricey haha

Comments: Needed new plugs for my 4.0 liter jeep grand cherokee 99. Got a set of these at NAPA and installed em without too much of a problem.

Just a little anti sieze and in they went. No problems running on them for over 4 months and am happy with them.

Maybe the iridium, vandium, laval hot uranium delpeted plugs are cooler ; but these Truck Plugs do the work so just enjoy em after the install -- with some leftover doe in your wallet
