Price: $700.00
Pros: With the cap on the CAI the snorkel works as a insurance policy against hydrolock. Can remove cap on CAI when not off roading and the snorkel acts like a ram air in addition to the bigger intake/filter box in the engine bay
Cons: have to remove bolts on snorkel mount to remove passenger door. Only takes about 30 seconds, so no biggy.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I got the Volant CAI/Snorkel system for my Jeep TJ second hand. I love it, no complaints.

Price: $250.00
Pros: Super easy to install, give a little extra power in acceleration.
Cons: Cleaning the filter. Voltant made their filter reusable so you don't have to replace it, but when it comes time to clean it (every 6 months or so for me) your out of commission for about half the day.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Great product. Super easy to install. Gives a noticeable power boost with a mean sound around 3k RPM. Easy to clean filter but it takes you out of commission for a few hours when you have to do it, overall great product would def recommend.

Pros: Increase in horsepower.
Cons: Expensive
Recommended? Yes

Comments: There is a noticeable increase in horsepower during acceleration. It's nothing too significant, but better than stock none-the-less. This product works best with a throttle body spacer.

Price: $300.00
Pros: Looks good. Sounds good. Increases horsepower. Has an additional port for the snorkel attachment and/or acts as a water drain. Easy to install. Easy to clean.
Cons: Priced too high. Hard to find find blue filter oil.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Volant Air Duct: Factory air inlet ducts use sound baffles and awkward bends which restrict flow. The Cross-Link polyethylene air ducts are sculptured to give the engine less restrictive breathing. Incorporating larger diameters and unique bends, that can't be duplicated with metal ducts, allow for maximum airflow velocity and throttle response.

Volant Pro 5 Filter: Many of Volant intakes come with this cleanable and reusable high grade cotton filter media with five-layers of protection. It reduces air restriction and increases engine output by using precision pleat geometry, that optimizes airflow throughout the intake system

Price: $300.00
Pros: Great power and throttle response and fuel millage
Cons: cleaning the filter. read review for more about this problem
Recommended? Yes

Comments: (06 TJ) OK here we go. installing is easy. make sure you push the tube all the way up to the box or the hotline on your ac will melt it. it works great, i have excellent throttle response power and gas millage. i haven't installed the snorkel yet but if you're worried about water getting into it due to where the opening is located, don't. the snorkel hole on the side acts as a drain for the box. now cleaning the air filter isn't a fun task. break out the tools. you have to pull the support bar that goes over it and unscrew the top of the box then unscrew the filter and pull it out. repeat backwards to reinstall. took awhile for it to come in the mail. good quality. haven't had a issue with it yet besides cleaning it but the way the box is made you don't have to clean it often.
