Price: $300.00 Pros: Provided a noticeable power gain in the higher RPM range, primarily from 3500/4000 to 5200. Cons: Dramatically increased the intake volume, and it is prone to a peculiar whistle at times. Recommended? Yes
Comments: As far as easy install goes, the K&N FIPK II is the definition of quick bolt-on. It took roughly 30-45 minutes to install. While it performs admirably as a standalone, a performance exhaust and bored throttle body are recommended to maximize the potential gain. It is most noticeable at higher RPM ranges.
Price: $200.00 Pros: Measurable increase in horsepower, torque and gas mileage. Cons: Very tough install, I hab problems with the fitment on the throttle body and spacing to the cowl. Recommended? Yes
Comments: Worth the increase in fuel economy and power, but I dont like some of the installation issues. I had some issues with fitting the tube into place on the throttle body. I also did not like the gasket and how that works. It is the flimsy stock one. The kit should come with a new, better sealing aftermarket gasket made to work specifically with the K&N Intake.
Price: $250.00 Pros: Louder, faster, stronger... I love it Cons: None Recommended? Yes
Comments: This kit plays well with the rest of my engine and exhaust mods. The engine sounds mean as well, bringing out the suction of my 62mm BBK TB and feeding the 1 5/8" headers plenty enough to keep them growling all the way down the road. Love this kit. The low end increase about rolls the zj over (mild exageration). Love it
