well worth the 50 bucks. easy to install. only downside was most auto stores dont carry it for the 2.4L so i had to order it online. but it definately gave me a little boost in hp.

I love K&N filters. I will be adding an actual cold air intake someday, but this is a great mod for now.

I notice a big enough difference with this to say that it is worth the $40 that I paid. I have had to clean it once that took no longer than a day to do. nice that it is the last filter I will have to buy.

Almost sick of K&N. I have had on allot of cars. Seems as the years go by, they rely more on there name. Instead of producing a good product. I also have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn Edition. I installed a ProCharger unit. Purchased the recommended K&N filter. About a month later was in the shop due to catastrophic failure!!! The K&N came a part internally and half was sucked into the motor.
I have been running AEM now for about 20k miles NO problems.
BOYCOTT K&N!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a K&N air filter for my Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 4.7l V8. So far I havent noticed much of a change in overall power, or an increase in mpg's.

Product purchased at Advanced Auto Parts for $48.95 online prices are way higher. Very reliable product with horse power gains and better then average fuel economy savings. Never has to be changed, But must be cleaned thoroughly ever two years.

I didn't want to spend the money on an intake, so I bought a flat K&N filter for the stock airbox. So far the mileage has improved and the engine is breathin just a bit better.

Definitely noticeable increase in airflow and engine runs better overall. Lower cost than complete breather replacement. Came with a nice K&N sticker. Quit reading reviews and get one already.
