Comments: Works as advertised. I clean about each 6 months or when obviously dirty and get a plus in my gas MPG of 1-2 mpg. I use to Tornado (turbulaors) in the airflow as well for another 1-2 mpg.

Price: $45.00 Pros: It is easy to clean. Drops right in air box, no mods. Cons: Have to wait for it to dry after cleaning. Recommended? No
Comments: I bought the filter thinking if would be better for my engine. I have cleaned it multiple times. It does not keep as much dirt out as a stock air filter. I Have to clean the upper air box assembly for dirt. The good point is I don't throw away air filter in the trash.

Price: $50.00 Pros: Better gas mileage, more airflow, comes with a million mile warranty. Cons: The price Recommended? Yes
Comments: I didn't want to spend the money on an intake, so I bought a flat K&N filter for the stock airbox. So far the mileage has improved and the engine is breathin just a bit better.

Price: $38.00 Pros: good name Cons: always needs cleaning, kit is expensive, finicky day to day Recommended? No
Comments: Almost sick of K&N. I have had on allot of cars. Seems as the years go by, they rely more on there name. Instead of producing a good product. I also have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn Edition. I installed a ProCharger unit. Purchased the recommended K&N filter. About a month later was in the shop due to catastrophic failure!!! The K&N came a part internally and half was sucked into the motor.
I have been running AEM now for about 20k miles NO problems.
BOYCOTT K&N!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
