Average Price: $282.24
Manufacturer: Banks
Yes: 43 / No: 1

Banks' revolutionary Ram-Air Intake System offers the reliability and durability of a factory intake yet delivers astonishing airflow. It flows 62% better than stock and outflows Volant and AIRAID, thanks in part to the Ram-Air's huge filter area (fewer filter cleanings!), giant outlet, and the complete air filter housing with large side & bottom inlets. Banks Ram-Air collects & directs more power-producing cool, dense air to the engine, lowering EGTs and smoke and improving fuel economy, too! The lifetime 8-ply filter traps the most dirt and debris. And Ram-Air is the only aftermarket intake with 4-1/2" bellows to accommodate engine movement. This prevents component damage and promotes reliable service life.
Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Pros: Great air flow, distinct improvement to sound, slightly more power perceived at lower RPM
Cons: none
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Definite improvement in sound, slight improvement in torque (seems more towards the lower end). Not impressed with gas mileage improvements. Mileage is no worse, but I can't say I've seen a marked improvement.

Price: $278.99
Pros: Nice tone, easy installation, sleek look
Cons: minimal power gains, occasionally whistles
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Product for: 2008 Wrangler Unlimitied Sahara

I had pretty high expectations on the Banks Power system. It completely delivered. I wasn't expecting a lot of additional power, but what little I feel that I got was nice. The install is easy (took less than an hour for me -- a girl!--to install by myself). The system appears almost stock in the engine bay--it fits in nicely with the rest of the bay. The tone is very nice. Nice growl with throttle, but it quiets down nicely at cruise speeds.

Overall, a nice buy. Highly recommended.

Price: $249.99
Pros: Easy Install, nice look (under the hood that is)
Cons: none yet...
Recommended? Yes

Comments: To me, this was worth the money. Granted its not a huge increase in HP and some people claim zero increase but for me it did seem to add a bit at the higher rpm's. Plus the sound when you give it full throttle is cool... overall happy with the product and would buy again.

Pros: throttle response, better mpgs, easy install, massive air filter and opening
Cons: whistles every now and then
Recommended? Yes

Comments: The install took maybe 10-20 mins tops. It has a massive reusable air filter and a huge opening for the air to get into, while the filter cover helps keep heat and dirt and mud out. Helped gain better throttle response and another 1mpg. I love the straight flow rather than the factory setup that has the rubber tube that messes up air flow.

Pros: sounds great, good performance, keeps water out.
Cons: none
Recommended? Yes

Comments: best performance purchase ive made. it takes in alot more air than other kits, and it has a casing over the filter to keep out way more water than the other open filters.

Comments: I chose this product after doing a lot of research. The results are as expected with the larger cone. The quality of this product is nice and the heavy duty plastic matches the original style.

Banks Ram-Air Intake System
Price: $1.00
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Sounds cool, whistles sometimes, never noticed any change in power or gas mileage. I guess it really only made my jeep sound a little different. I don't know I could be wrong, but if there was any difference in power and gas mileage it was negligeable.
