AMSOIL Ea Air Filters allow more airflow than filters that use cellulose media alone. Cellulose fibers are larger than nanofibers, and have larger spaces between the fibers, causing contaminants to load in the depth of the media and plug the airflow path, which results in higher restriction and less capacity. The synthetic nanofibers in EaA Filter media have submicron diameters and small interfiber spaces, which result in more contaminants being captured on the surface of the media and lower restriction.

Price: $47.45
Pros: No re-oiling, just wash, let dry and re-use
Cons: none
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Nothing special but filters much better than my previous K&N and is much easier to clean.

Price: $80.00
Pros: Dry, cleanable filter, fits in place of existing inferior product. Looks Great!
Cons: Expensive for a filter....but not as expensive as fixing issues with dirt in your engine!
Recommended? Yes

Comments: My price reflects both the filter and the Pre-Filter.......Purchased EaA-3590 and matching pre-filter to replace my "non-filtering" K&N filter. My Jeep had the K&N CAI kit on it when I bought the Jeep. The Amsoil filter is a little larger filter, but still fits fine. Everything looks and fits great. Another great thing is that this filter is still cleanable by simply shaking it out or using low pressure compressed air.

Price: $45.00
Pros: easy to clean, filters very well
Cons: none
Recommended? Yes

Comments: After getting sick of washing and reoiling my K&N all the time, and reading several studies showing how poorly a K&N filter actually filtered I decided to upgrade to the Amsoil EA filter. I like that I can just wash it and let it air dry with no need to oil it and if filters much better than the K&N did.

Pros: Cone filter has clean induction for K&N FIPK
Cons: None
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I replaced my K&N cone filter on the FIPK with the Amsoil cone filter. It filters better, and does not contain oil.

Comments: I have the Amsoil cone filter on my K&N intake. Switched out the K&N filter for a better one perhaps.

Amsoil AMSOIL Ea Air Filters (EaA)
Price: $39.00
Recommended? Yes

Comments: So far so good. If it holds up to a cleaning after it is dirty then it will be worth the money. Kind of nice not to have to oil it.
