Pros: Sounds cool, noticable power increase
Cons: None
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Had a K&N filter in the stock box before i put the AEM setup on and boy was I surprised. I would not have thought it would have been that noticeable but it was. Now if they make it for them my other cars will have an AEM on them as well.

Pros: Opens up breathing on Jeep engines. +50HP!!!
Cons: Open filter isn't good for water crossings.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Already installed when I bought my JK, but it seems to do a good job for it's purpose. Wouldn't have been my first choice, but it'll stay until I throw a snorkel on.

Pros: Easy intallation - even a Caveman could do it
Cons: To early to know
Recommended? Yes

Comments: The heat shield is black, thus it absorbs heat. Why didn't they powder coat the shield silver, same as the tube to REFLECT heat? Using foil backed bubble material to bounce the heat back to the engine.

Cons: might hinder deep watter crossings

Comments: ive hat the brute force for about 6 months, it improoves throttle response and you can rest assured your jeep is getting enough air. it sounds really cool under the hood. havent noticed any change in gass milage but also havent really kept track.

Pros: Instant throttle response, torque increase, dry million mile filter. No messy oils!
Cons: None!
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This the best of the best. I've tried a few different ones and thought the K&N would be the best. I got this one cheap for my 03 TJ when I bought it because it'd been on display at a vendor show. The throttle body spacer makes a whine, but it does its job (and you get very used to it quickly)! Instant throttle response, no lag. Great sound that's not too obtrusive.

As for fuel milage increase? I dunno. I'm a lead foot!

Long made short? AEM Brute's are for me...for life!

Comments: Great intake. Works well with 62mm TBS, hissing noise is good when you boost. Noticable increase in HP and torque, however a mild drop in milage, well worth it.

AEM Brute Force Induction System
Recommended? No

Comments: I actually have the "FRAM Boost" intake, but it is the exact same as the AEM Brute Force. It even came with pictures of the AEM in the instructions.

Overall, I have to say stick with stock. The oiless filter is nice, and in 50,000 miles I have seen no signs of dust getting thru. But overall I gained 0.3 mpg, but was going to summer blend gas at the same time, so that improvement was a wash. Power feels the same. It sounds healthier, and makes me more afraid of deep water/mud. I think I would prefer to go back to stock, although that's long gone now.

Save your money for armor, or tires, or a regear if needed.

AEM Brute Force Induction System
Price: $270.00
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I saw a mild increase in MPG and HP when I installed the AEM Brute Force kit. I like the kit very well. The only thing about it I wish was different is it has change the vacuum reading for the auto trans and my trans shifts from 1st to 3rd then back to 2nd after it realizes it doesn't have enough vacuum. If I took the TB spacer off it might fix the issue but I am very pleased with the mod.
