63 Series Air Intake Kits (AirCharger's) are a sister product to the 57 Series FIPK's. These intakes are built for many different vehicles and represent a dramatic improvement over a K&N O/E replacement filter alone; they use only non-metallic rotationally molded tubes that can reduce intake air temperature and decrease intake sound over a metal tube.

Pros: Much better air flow!
Cons: Gives the Jeep a dual exhaust sound when I get on it. Not really a con but noted.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Simple fast install. Took about 25 minutes. Well worth it considering the HP gain and better mileage.

Price: $250.00
Pros: Noticeable performance increase
Cons: Mounting it on is a pain in the ass... The rubber seal between the plastic pipe and throttle body comes out, and air is coming in not through the filter. The throttle body is so close to the edge of the engine bay opening that its REALLY hard to mount it. K&N should make a separate version for 5.9 engines.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Good intake, and other than the installation issues it's pretty flawless.

Price: $248.00
Pros: Ease of Install /price
Cons: None so far
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Must admit I was skeptical but as I had just purchased my new to me 2002 TJ Sport thought well got to start some where.

This is what I found
1. Freeway driving an additional 2 miles /gallon

2 I did notice an improvement in engine performance especially in 3rd gear around 3000rpm , yes its a stick, only way to Jeep really

Price: $289.99
Pros: Nice throaty sound :) Small throttle improvement
Cons: Haven't noticed a savings at the pump but I am giving more throttle to hear the nice rumble the CAI provides
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I just installed the K&N 57-1553 and have been happy with the immediate deep throaty sound when I throttle mash.

Kudo's to the installation instructions and many K&N Youtube vids.. Well put together and made the install easy. Was a 2 beer job.

I went without the throttle body spacer .. didn't see the need.

Next investment is the Metal Mulisha Gibson exhaust .. love that this is available in baked black

Price: $269.00
Pros: Sound
Cons: Filter Performance
Recommended? No

Comments: I really enjoy the sound this intake give the JK. I also like that the filter is a lifetime filter. Recharging the filter is an easy process, but also takes a long time to 'dry'. I'm considering buying another filter ($50) to basically keep one clean all the time since its my daily driver too. This product is getting a little expensive for the benfits.

I recommend the addition of the K&N prefilter bag. (http://www.quadratec.com/products/17101_0101.htm)
