Comments: I'm very glad that I bought this. I used the milage XS program and it has saved me alot in gas. I did have some trouble with it the first time I did use it. But all I did was called superchips told them what was wrong and they sent it to there techs and had it up and running 1-2 business days.

Pros: Noticeable improvement in engine performance and vehicle drivability. Improved control when off-roading. Able to reprogram speedo for tire size and gear changes.

Comments: This is the Superchips Flashpaq for Jeep vehicles (no option listed). The sdtandard 87 tune made a big improvement, but the 93 tune (running 93 octane premium gas) is amazing. When I go off-roading I reprogram to the Crawl tune for better throttle control and torque. I also swap my OEM 32" tires for 35" tires when heading to the trails, and the Superchips lets me reprogram my speedometer for the different sizes.
My only complaints are that there are many things this tuner could do, that other devices already do, that Superchips just refuses to consider. But there is no single device that does it all, and Superchips is (currently) the most complete and affordable. Also, their documentation is practically non-existent.

Comments: This product has way more features than I have used, but I bought if to improve the engine performance and it has delivered. I only wish I could purchase the mid-octane gas in order to use the mid-octane tune, but alas it isn't sold here.

Comments: The Superchips Flashpaq Tuner was a good investment. The multiple choice of programs was a nice feature as I usually run on 87 octane fuel. It has programs for towing, 87 octane, 92 octane premium plus a few other user adjustable options. (tire size, gear change etc.) Also has a DTC code reader built in. Easy to install, only takes about 10 minutes while you sit in the drivers seat!

Cons: They advertise that it does more than what it really does, but there are continuous updates being made.

Comments: Combined with exhause and intake, using the performance tune it does a decent job for minor performance increase. The tire size programming, cooling fan temp settings, transmission shifting improvements for an automatic in the performance tunes, and they just came out with TPMS adjustment are all nice features.

Comments: I had a Superchip on two of my Ford trucks. One gas 4.6 V8 and one 7.3 diesel, and i loved both of them. One option i like about the one for my jeep, is that like the diesel tuner, it has multiple stages.

Comments: Works great has three programs, regular octain, tow, and high octain performance. I run the high octain (91) until the price of gas gets too high then I simply reprogram my computer for the regular octain program.
Switching programs is as basically as plug and play as you can get. The unit displays the instructions that are simple to follow.
I feel it has added a nice boost to my performance plus gives me DTC readings. However, it did not diagnose the speed sensor failure and I had to pay to have that failure diagnosed. I was not too happy for that.
Note: The unit is VIN locked to the vehicle that you program so there is no multiple use for this unit.
99 WJ Note: There is no spedo adjustment for tire size.
