Product Information

MSRP: $800.00
Average Price: $290.07
Manufacturer: Banks
Recommended?
Yes: 107 / No: 4

1991-05 4.0L and 2000-02 2.5L WRANGLER: Constructed entirely of heavy-gauge stainless steel, Banks Monster features a supersized, 2.5-inch tailpipe with a stainless tailpipe tip polished to a mirror finish. Banks Monster muffler, its straight-through performance muffler, is the industry's least restrictive. In comparison tests, Banks muffler flowed 498.2 cfm at 1 psi—a 139% improvement over the stock exhaust's 208.6 cfm, and about 44% better than the nearest competitor.
Monster virtually eliminates backpressure from the catalytic converter back, for more power and efficiency—and an authoritative, yet civil, exhaust note. For maximum results, combine with Banks TorqueTube system.

Comments: Sounds great. I had a tough time getting the tip to stop hitting the stuff. It is a tight fit between shackles and the aftermarket gas skid plate.

Comments: It sounds pretty mean when combined with the headers and bigger pipes. I dented it, but that was my own fault

Comments: sounds like a small block v8 with that low end rumble. not a overwhelimg sound that will drive you nuts. deff notice it when starting off the line and idiling. best exhaust period ofr the money. stainless stell so it will never rust and has a 2.5" outlet over the 2.25" stock exhaust.

Comments: This is a great exhaust when combined with a little JB Weld. I tightened the connecting bolts as tight as possible and there were still minor leaks, only around the connection point. After the JB Weld set, the leaks were gone and after about 2 weeks, the sound was deep and loud, louder than most exhausts, which is what I'm after. I am anxious to hear the even better note once I install the TourqueTube.
