Hi out there

happy to see that some guys like the idea of my build.

At the moment I have no time to work on the Jeep. I will start working on in again in autumn time.
My other favorite is flying gliders (or powered gliders) and this what I do in my sparetime if the wheather is fine.

See:

Cheers

Hi hrt4me,

let me answer in english, cause it's an US forum and do not want to bother the other jeepers (But it's nice to find some german words here)

I'm living nearby Fulda, it's in the Hessen part of Rhön. Maybe you know Wasserkuppe, it's the highest mountain in our area...but i like the "fränkisch" part as well....Kreuzberg
Maybe some of the other guys out here have been at military training area in Wildflecken

I'm not member of Jeepclub Germany, I just do everything on my own.

But after all that now

Did some filling on the body to start painting the inside next:

Keep u updated

Cheers

Servus Rhöner, I know the region well; my family stems from Würzburg, Schweinfurt and Bad Kissingen, and we often took day trips to the Wasserkuppe when I was much younger, as its Sommerrodelbahn was one of my favorites (actually the only other one I have tried is in Altenahr, albeit in the winter during the recent past while I was working with my liaison counterparts in Meckenheim before they were eventually reassigned to Berlin Treptow and/or Wiesbaden). mfg!

Sweet Jeep build! Love the idea! Don't give up like I almost did on my build. You'll really appreciate the work in the end.

Hi Jeepers,

after a long time, I started to work on the Jeep again.

But first of all, something special. These are the CJ 7 fittings. If CJ7 tailgate than original....

...could be a sandbox for my kids

...and finally black

Cheers

I have the ugly twin to your jeep. Orange and black cj-y with 31s and drop down tailgate. Its nowhere near the level of restoration of yours but its a work in progress.
