Nice man, I still have to stop by and check that thing out. Unless I missed something, in the first video you were only cranking about 12 volts.....time for a new alt?

Thanks man!

Yeah its just the gauges, the whole cluster is messed up and don't work. I checked the bat,, while running with a volt meter and it was putting out 14 and a half volts.

Getting to the point in this built where its just about ready to get this thing plated and insured. Got a lot more work done this past week, planning to drive the jeep up north to Traverse on Thursday to do some shake down runs and wheeling, we will see how that goes .

Got one of the half doors painted to match.

Took a few hours one day to buff out the jeep also waxed it, turned out pretty well IMO.

Finished up the intake minus paint.

Turns out the vacuum switch on the t-case doesn't work, not no 4wd, decided to do a DIY PosiLock, ran one on my old YJ and liked it and i plan to run a lunchbox up front so it will kinda make it a selectable locker.....
NAPA locking cable and spring

Made a mount for the t handle.

spring and cable in the fork

Mounted up

Cleaned and painted the sound bar up

Ordered up some summit black d windows, should be here Wednesday!

Go the wheels I ordered today, just summitracing.com black steel D windows. At $40 bucks a piece you can't beat em!

Ran em right up to bell tire to get em mounted to my 33x12.5-15 Goodyear MT/R's.

Wheels are 3.75" backspacing, well over half the tire sticks out with no flares

Thanks Kyle!

Took the jeep for a test drive last night, wow, what a difference in power there is compared to my old carbed I6 258 i had in my 89 YJ. Even with the 33's and 3.07 gears it can still put you back in your seat!

Well over the weekend we took the jeep on what was basically a tour of the lower peninsula of Michigan. Started out from home, here in Commerce MI, then up I75 through midland, further up I75 to a bunch of small towns along the shore of lake Huron. Further up lake Huron to Rogers City, which is right on the water, after about 20 miles of driving along the shore, we turned inland, taking a bunch of back roads through Black Mountain and eventually getting Cheboygan, after that we hopped Back on I75 heading south down to Gaylord which is on the way to getting to the house in Traverse City. Was about a 350 mile trip in a jeep that we had driven maybe 10 miles before, which had been sitting in parts for the last 5 years, crazy right, all went smoothly though

At the house...

Did some wheeling around the house on the property.
Trying to flex it out some, new lift springs, plus there Rough Country, so flex isn't the best.....

These may be limiting some flex

A trail we have on the property, that's a very steep and off camber hill btw, pictures don't do anything justice

I still have a ton of wheeling pictures to go through so i will get back a post of the rest of the pictures, here's some teaser ones though.

Still looking for the rest of my wheeling pictures, but here's a little video of the first shake down run. when looking back at this video i could have hit it harder but it was the first real obstacle i tried in this jeep.
