yj project

well this summer i finished my project truck its a 75 ford on44s tons mods
i had the urge to wheel again and i didnt want to ruin my truck so i started looking around
i bought a 88yj auto ac hardtop hard doors mild lift and 33bfg ats
i got a spare set of complete axles with 4.10s and started building them
the front got yukon 4340 inner shafts ctm u joints and alloy usa 4340 outers
i installed a new lockright and a block off plate and managed to get things underway
i got a one off riddler manufacturing cast 4340 chromo diff cover and the front was complete
the rear was a bit of a problem,
the dana 35 that i bought was a posi
you can only install the lockright in the open carriers so i was sol.
i bought new bearings for the carrier welded up the spider gears put yukon cold forged extruded rear shafts in it new bearings and brakes and the rear was complete
i went down to my friends garage and we ripped the axles out of the jeep
i purchased m.o.r.e boomerang shackles for the front and rear with 9/16 bolts all the way around
while it was out i also did skyjacker braided stainless brake lines as well
i took the jeep out and holy crap its the first time i ever wheeled a locked and locked vehicle. this thing goes everywhere with the 33" swampers and the gears and lockers
ill keep u up dated on future builds.
including cage custom dshafts skid plates etc
any questions drop me and email
